great combo Good combo for a decent price. I took it out the day after I got it and caught 14 fish on it without any problems. Its really sensitive and it casts and retrieves really smooth. Nothing but good things from me. April 24, 2013
Glad I did I'm an avid fisherman who has fished for 50 years .I recently moved to Delaware from the fish Capital of the World Florida. I really like the quantum combo bait caster that I purchased from: Dick's Sporting Goods. The rod is very sensitive to that bass bump and the reel is very smooth working on casting and retrieving. Great rod Use this rod for my jerkbaits, works great! I have 12 pound 100% fluorocarbon spiderwire. Great flex in the rod for getting the most action out of the bait. the reel is smooth and have not had a prob with it! April 1, 2013
Good deal. I bought this in hopes of setting it up as a flipping rig. The rod isn't as stiff as I'd like but I can still flip a decent distance. I really enjoy the real it retrieves fast, and casts great. I've taken it to the lake twice so far and have caught fish on it so it does its job. I got mine on sale, and glad that I did. If I had paid 80 plus tax for it with the rod lacking the stiffness I would be a little upset. But only because I was looking for something to flip. March 26, 2013
great combo pack I got this rod and reel cmbo for one reason, to catch fish this rod and reel combo pack is great. I put trilene smooth casting 10lbs test line on the reel and its one of the smoothest casting reels i have ever used. All in all this is a great product. March 19, 2013
