morgan spoons In the first 5 cast I had 3 bites and one fish on. With in a hr I had I caught 3 fish and about 20 hit while my dad was using live bait and not getting any hits. November 4, 2014
Good Spoon Spoon seemed a little pricey on the shelf, but I decided to give it a try. Once taken out of the box you'll notice this is a very well made lure. The screwed hook seems exceptionally solid and very sharp. Like all spoons casts long even in fairly windy conditions. Has a better action in the water when fished slowly than any other spoon I've used. Have caught several over slot fish and many slot reds on this spoon and its holding up well. Have not tried trimming down the tail as some previous reviews suggested, but will probably try that on my second one and compare the effects. Only complaint would be that they don't seem to make it in a 1/2oz. Over all seems to be worth the money and I have much more confidence in this spoon than any of my others. October 24, 2014
Rust spots Used it on three trips and the spoon is already flaking and rusting September 9, 2014
Mogan spoon Great action and will imitate a bleeding baitfish! Try trimming up the ribbon will increase hook ups. You can cast it a mile and will cut cover! September 2, 2014
Id eat it Well at first I was a bit hesitant because of the price, I'm not one to spend a lot on artificials! But I love this is spoon. Great action in the water and definitely attracts a wide variety of fish! Get it!!! July 8, 2014
Redfish Candy! This is my go to spoon for Redfish (gold spoon) and trout and reds on the silver spoon. Super durable, amazing hook, great weed guard, and awesome reflective decal on the back. I've caught many slot redfish on the same spoon and it's still going strong! I plan on buying a second one incase I accidentally loose this one! One tip, I cut the tail closer to the hook for more hook ups! April 22, 2014
It's a spoon with a tail Nothing special really. I like it's construction. I think screwed hooks are a lot stronger than soldered if you're throwing at hard structure like dock pilings. I have had zero success with it but I've only used it once so far and admittedly nothing was working that day. It has a really nice and flashy wobble action when retrieved slow. I do suggest adding a micro swivel to the split ring as it'll twist your line up pretty bad if you bring it in at anything faster than a gentle crawl. March 6, 2014
mogan spoons fantastic spoon, superior action, lots of flash. reminds me of a hobo spoon (which has always been my favorite) instead of feathers, you get color streamers and flash streamers. 1/4 & 3/8 oz both work well. seems to be with the gold spoons you get red colored streamers and flash, the silver spoon you get yellow streamers & flash March 3, 2014
The best for inshore fishing Very happy!!! For catching sea trout and snook . I highly recomend. A must to have in a fishing box. You can't leave home without one. February 11, 2014
fair Nicely made.. I keep trying it and it does catch fish but a plain spoon seems to do just as good or better...loose the tail feather. P November 21, 2013
