Even for my shoe size (14) these shoes are light as a feather. I have a midfoot strike and I can run for days with these things. Absolutely recommend.

I bought these shoes to help me transition form a normal shoe to a minimus shoe while practicing the mid-foot strike ( Chi running style). They are Comfortable, light weight, large toe box.

This may well be the best minimalist shoe ever made in terms of foot strike and toe off. But you must buy a large size. One full size up, unless like most minimalist shoes that you already buy a half size up go another half size up in these and you will be blown away. Anyone having issues with stitching do not know how to use a shoe with a large toe box that allows you toes to splay properly. Since these shoes have a generous toe box people tend to buy them too small because they feel the generous room and think they have the proper size. Do not be fooled into buying the shoe too small just because they feel roomy in the toe box. Trust me and try the next two sizes up and be prepared to choose the largest comfortable size even if your toes feel like they have excessive room. You want that room. The shoe has a good asymmetrical lacing that keeps it against your bridge of your foot so don't worry about your foot sliding forward if it feels too big - it's not too big. Go for it.

Initially the shoe felt great until I started to walk around the house. The problem, I could feel the stitching on the base of the shoe on the outer edge both shoes. One would think that the insoles would coverup the issue but I could still feel the stitching so shoes had to be returned.
