Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Performed well. Performed without any issues that others had reported about interference because of it being wireless. May 28, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Does the company know they make this one? I'm new to cycling and got this to track my progress. Imagine my surprise when I got home, opened the manual and found that the SL 4.0 wasn't listed. They had the SL and they had the 4.0 but neither one described what I had purchased. I then went to the Blackburn website where I found that they must not be aware that they produce and sell a SL 4.0 model, because the SL 4.0 model isn't listed there either. I'll jack with it until I get it working, but it'll make me think twice before I buy another Blackburn product. Really poor product support. June 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great computer It was easy to install. It took me all of 5 minutes to install it. Has worked Flawlessly since. This eay to use , has alot of features, and works great for a rear mount wireless sub $50 computer May 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pretty good no complaints here Simple to install, as accurate as my garmin GPS! Good buy! April 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Bike Computer For a simple way to track your distance, speed, and pace this is a great product. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for something with more bells and whistles than I would need. Good price and gives me the right amount of information. Would recommend. April 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to install and program. The Atom SL 4.0 is basically the same as the 3.0. The only difference is that the sensor mounts to the rear tire instead of the front. This is so you can use your bike on a trainer, and still have it read out. I wasn't really expecting much after reading the awful reviews for the 3.0. This is my third bike computer, the others being a cateye and a bontrager. I bought them from the bike store that I bought the bikes from, and they installed them. I had a a gift card for Dick's when I bought this bike, so I figured I would use it to buy some of my bike accessories. I do have to agree with the complaints about the instruction manual. The print is hard to read due to small print. I skimmed over it enough to understand which buttons to push when programming it, and the code for my wheel/tires. For the most part, I did not use it. The display comes with a velcro strap to mount it to the handle bars or stem. (Nice to have the option of stem mounting.# I did not care for it, so I used an oversized wire tie to mount mine to the stem. It worked very well there. Mounting the sensor and spoke magnet was very simple. Two wire ties #included) hold it in place. Just make sure to have it in the right location before tightening them down. Programming any bike computer can be a little frustrating. I have had to reset my other computers after a battery change. But it is no worse than resetting the time on a digital watch. Enter the tire code, set the time, and I was done. My test ride was just over ten miles, and I carried my smart phone with the Strava bike app loaded. They were very close in read outs. I have not set the altimeter on it yet, because I was not even aware that there was one on it. Overall, I am very happy with it, especially when compared to other reviews. April 15, 2013
