Rated 1 out of 5 by Tubing on the Gunpowder Not worth the money = punctured first time tubing
If you plan on using more than one time, go with a heavier duty tube. The head rest was good, cup holders good and mesh in bottom good. However, first time using it, it took 1 1/2 hours to blow up 7 tubes and it does not have a quick release. So as much time blowing up as it takes getting the air out and difficult when you are tired after hours of tubing. The first time out with these tubes, we lost one due to a puncture and another due to going over rocks. My suggestion is to go for the additional money and get a heavier tube.

Black is hot to the touch. Does not have a easy release valve to let the air out. Other than that it's just ok.

The tube is very comfortable with support for your back and head. The mesh keeps you from slipping through the tube. It is difficult to inflate and deflate but worth the effort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SuperMom LOVE these tubes!
I ordered four of these for my family to float the Boise River. The cost was extremely reasonable and the tubes are great! They are big enough to hold my 6'3" son and 6' husband comfortably. The "pillow" offered good back and neck support. The drink holders are not real big, but held a regular size water bottle just fine. We LOVE the ropes for grabbing onto each other and for holding onto a tube while it's rider took a dunk. The only negative is that they take some time to deflate. They have one of those valves that you have to squeeze or stick a pencil in to hold it open. But overall great item for the money and we would buy these again.

This intertube seems to be thicker that the average intertube. I have used it to float the river and it held up very well. I hit some tree limbs and it did not puncture the tube!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by dwg Nice tube for the price
Used this tube on Deer Creek which is slow moving with mild rapid areas. The tube held up nicely to rubs over, and bumps along, rocks. I recommend lifting your rump though! No damage to the rump mesh which was nice. The tube was comfortable and the back rest was nice to have. The cup holders are small but held a small size water bottle securely like the kind you would get at a 7-Eleven. Kept the rope loose so it was easy to hold on to another tube.
Biggest draw back is inflation and deflation. The tongue inside the fill valve is stiff and you will need something to force it open. I used a small portable air pump to fill it. Finding an insertion attachment was difficult but I did manage to inflate it in about 20 minutes or so. I had to improvise for deflation. I used the sleeve of a pen by removing the ink and end cap. Carefully inserted it past the tongue then placed the vacuum hose over it and sealed the space using my hand. Had it fully deflated in about a minute.
Would be better designed if it had a larger deflation valve and a small storage area for the patch repair kit. I would have gladly paid the extra few dollars for that convenience.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Leesburgite Nice product on sale yet quality a bit suspect
Bought this on sale recently. actually bought a few. One had a hole that had to be fixed, one came without the rope/string to go around it, and all of them i had to use a screw driver to open the holes for the air to go in......

Rated 5 out of 5 by Roger Floating on the New River
This float worked great for floating "up" the New River in NC (which flows South to North). The DBX Deluxe 1-Person River Float cost about twice as much as the River Run floats but it is 54" instead of 48" and is made of thicker plastic material. It's better for a bigger person and a tougher environment. My only complaint is getting the air in and out of it. Fortunately, I had access to an air compressor to fill it but when you let the air of the the float you need to poke something down the valve to open it up or you will be there forever.

My son was very pleased with the raft and enjoys floating around his pool on it.
