Byer of Maine Sumo Hammock Stand 3.7 5 3 3
Solid as a rock This is an excellent hammock stand for my EMO, back packing, style hammock. It's very solid and is very easy to get in and out of. And with it being an end of summer item, I got it for only $40.00 That in itself is just icing on the cake. August 27, 2014
Good Quality - Too Short The elbows have a little play, but it's a solid structure. The middle pipe is too short and I won't be able to use this with my hammock. I'll have to get the upgraded version (Vario) to use my longer hammock. August 9, 2014
A little short As advertised, this stand is made of heavy duty steel and includes a section in the middle so you can expand it to fit your hammock. I have no qualms about the quality however, the adjustment bar is not long enough. We have a wide rope hammock that is pretty long. At its maximum, the stand still puts us on the ground. I'll have to buy some longer pipe to use it. July 16, 2014
