I have been using the e6 for the past year. My original purchase was because I couldn't see the flight of the white balls I used to use, so I purchased them for the color. Not that I would want my eyes to have gotten older any sooner, but I wish I would have discovered the e6 sooner by reading the box rather than looking at the color. Now, not only can I see them in flight, they make my round of play faster. I now find them in the the fairway and ruff much easier. That is because the engineers designed a ball that lives up to the advertising department hype. I can attest to them flying straighter (see my picture next to the word "Slicer" in the dictionary) because prior to switching to the e6 I would have said I might have been able to find them in the ruff and tall grass easier... if at all. Now instead of me watching the flight of my slice being perpendicular to the fairway, I can see a gentle fade. I even got my only hole in one using the e6. Playing on a tight courses no longer intimidates me. Many members of the association I play with used to make fun of the orange balls I played with... until they wanted to try them. Now several of them use an e6, but their ego has them purchasing them in the lime rather than the orange. I played in Hawaii recently. The pro that equipped me with custom clubs to accommodate my game was also a teaching pro. He asked which ball I used and he indicated that not only are they a great choice for my style of play... he changed over to using them himself.
The Pros.... If you want to improve your handicap, or prefer sandbagging the bets with your golf buddies, give them a try.
The Cons... Too few golf retailers carry the e6 in Orange (I had to buy mine online)... but if you want to play them in white or lime... change this back to be a Pro.

I will start out by saying I'm 58 , swing speed 85mph, 18 handicap-HONEST, that being said, I have tried just about every brand and make of golf ball that is available to average player from Dick's, Wally World and etc., I can honestly say that Bridgestone balls seem to be superior over all for Distance. The E6 is close to being my favorite model but The Fixx is very close being the same ball. I get more spin off the E6 at the greens and it might give a extra 2 yards but I just can't see the huge price difference. If I have to have only one ball to play I'll take FIXX over the E6 for the fact of straight flight. I play maybe 35 to 40 rounds in a year and the courses I play are difficult for a good golfer so yes losing golf balls is a factor in your play. Bridgestone has the right design but I think they should realize the average weekend golfer wants a $15 price range for a dozen of good golf balls.

I have used other name brand golf balls but these are the ones that have my vote. I have already dropped 5 to 7 strokes off my game and recommend the E6 balls to all my friends. Well at least the ones that need to improve their game. Try them and you will see what I am talking about.
