Like every putter in the Scottsdale TR™ line, the Grayhawk is designed with variable-depth-groove technology for a true golf ball roll. The variable-depth grooves in the insert are deepest in the center and get gradually shallower to the perimeter to equalize ball speeds for control. PING Grayhawk Putter new design. face weighted. true roll. is right for this putter April 30, 2013
Really Good Mallet Putter Brought this putter for two reasons, one because I love mallet putters and PING is know for making great putters. Only used it 3-4 rounds so far, great on short putts. On long putts if you miss the sweet spot, you can hear the difference, but speed and control were only affected minimally. For what it's worth I own numerous putters, but this is the first one that I DIDN'T have to change anything on it, including: loft, size, lie angle, or grip. April 23, 2013
