We purchased these cleats for our son. He is a senior on his high school football team. He plays offense and defense and is off the field very little. He said they are very comfortable and have good grip. However, they did not last the season. During the last regular season game the sole ripped off and had to be taped. Now we are about to begin playoff games and we have to purchase another pair. We had purchased a similar pair during his junior year, they also barely made it through the season with the sole intact with sole coming off during their last playoff game. Being one not to rush to judgement with one bad experience we decided to give them another try. He is not planning on playing beyond high school, so he wont need another pair. Needless to say, will not purchase them again and would NOT even if he was going on to the next level.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Witbrak74 GREAT SHOE WITH BAD HARDWARE
Overall, I am impressed with the shoe as it provides extra support around the ankles. For my son, who is a Lineman on both sides of the ball, that is extra confidence for him. However, Under Armour really needs to step it up when it comes to the hardware. The plastic cleats are very small compared to the other brands, which will wear down forcing you to pay additional money for replacements. The cleat tightening tool is a joke! To assure you have each cleat tight to avoid losing them, ( learned from experience ) you must put pressure on each one. The tool provided has plastic notches along with a metal ridge. By the time I had tightened the first 2 cleats, the metal ridge had twisted, causing the cleat itself to begin to strip. I had to use another brands cleat tool to finish the job. Come on Under Armour, for a company that is on top of the sports apparel world, you can do a whole lot better!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Samsmom Good, but not great
My son has really wide feet, so finding the right football cleat has been a challenge. I really like these shoes, except, the cleats come out even though we keep tightening them. Other than that, great support and nice looking and it working well with the wide foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by StallionMom Perfect for lineman
We purchased these at the store and had them shipped in our school colors. After two weeks they're pretty much broken in. My 13 year old lineman loves them and refers to them as"the most comfortable cleats ever." I was worried after reviews of the extra padding on the ankles but it doesn't bother him. My husband coaches and has other lineman complaining about sore ankles because they're wearing low-top cleats, so the height is perfect. I have noticed that the studs on the buttom will wear overtime so we'll end up purchasing replacements before the famous Utah snow arrives. They're reasonably priced and overall a great fitting comfortable cleats.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Car Ing Great comfort, but BEWARE, the plastic ankle buckles break
My son loves the fit of these shoes:extremely comfortable with lots of padding and ankle support. He tried these on at the store with no problem, but when he cinched velcro strap before his first practice the plastic rectangular buckle snapped. I returned these and ordered a replacement pair. Same thing occurred. If Under Armor had used a metal buckle this would be a five star great shoe.
The shoes fit so well and are so comfortable, I'm bringing them to a cobbler to get fixed. But this is really a shame; Under Armor needs to do a recall or sell these with a warning. For close to $100 (with tax) consumers should be able to rely on the shoe without replacing the buckle!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Justinh119 Would have been best lineman cleats...
I purchased these cleats because I thought they would be comfortable & reliable... It turns out to be the worst cleats I ever had. The problem I had was that certain cleats on the left shoe would fall out no matter how many times you tighten them... But get this! Three other teammates had the same exact problem! Not only would the cleats not stay in, the ones that did stay in wore down within a couple practices. Either it is due to the cleats in the left shoe falling out or the shoes suffer from bad design. $90 WASTED!

Rated 1 out of 5 by zman35 Bad design
I believe there is definately a design issue with these cleats. My son wore them for 2 weeks of two a days and rubbed the back of his ankle raw. At first we thought he just needed to break them in....not the case. 6 of his team mates bought the exact same cleat with the same results. The cleats look great and the service at Dicks was great i am just really disapointed in the way the back of the cleat is made. Definately last time we will purchase this brand of cleat!!!
