Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Kayak.... Light Kayack, wide and stable. Comfortable seat, easy to launch. Suggestion: the width of the kayak needs longer paddles. I am 5'2 and got the correct size for my stature but got soaked from the paddles, Get longer paddles with this kayak. April 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my kayak! I have had my kayak almost a year and used it on the lake throughout the winter. I love it and want to get another. April 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by No Handles. Why is there a place for handles but no handles. I need Handles. where can I get them? I have not used this product yet as it is raining and very windy. March 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very stable, sturdy, fun! But heavy My 8 year old son bought this kayak after saving a year for one. It is very stable in the water, but due to the short length and bathtub shape, it doesn't track very well, which can be fatiguing on long paddles. My only other complaint is that it is very heavy compared to our other kayaks...seems like it is thicker plastic which is good for durability but bad for loading and portage. Dry well is a great feature. All in all a stable boat that sits high in the water, and manageable for kids but plenty big for adults. Great for beginners and a good price. December 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by AMAZING This is my first kayak and I love it. It is great for fishing, you can stand up on it, and it doesn't flip over. It is light so you can put it in the back of your truck and it is easy for one person to carry. I'm on only 16 years old but this is the best thing for fishing besides a Jon boat. You can mount a fishing rod holders and handles. It is awesome. December 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by LIGHT Weight! I can keep this one in the minivan and pull it out any time the tide is high or I pass a good boat ramp. It was essential for me to have one that I can manage by myself. I had no difficulty with balance, but admit I use it more for marsh and some bay/channels. The only drawback is no side straps/handles. The dry pouch and bottle holder are convenient. The price at Dick's is great. Love the lime green -- boats can see me coming! October 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! This is my first kayak, so I didn't really know what I needed. I bought it because of it's size. I needed something to fit in back of a Toyota Corrolla, and with the back seats down it slides into my trunk and only sticks out 2 ft, works perfect! I love it, easy to handle. My 6 yr old grandson loves it as well, very easy for both adults and children to maneuver. August 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by SitonTop Kayak My 1st kayak was the fusion 10 & it is a great. This year I bought a this model & a lighter sit on top weighing only 26lbs! This model & prob with most sit on tops is they are wider to help with stability also makes it hard to handle/balance. I'm a female weighing 130 & 5'3 and mainly kayak alone & lift my own equipment by myself. I'm definitely going to have to buy straps to lift & carry this one IF I decide to keep it. I may return it. Its only 32lbs I believe but it feels heavier than my 1st kayak that weighs around 48lbs and has not been a issue to handle alone and no stability issues, except being careful entering & leaving it. I may just get another light sit in. I can throw them around like nobody's business but the sitontop just seems hard to handle/balance. I would recommend it if you definitely want a sitontop, but if you are undecided & will be lifting & kayaking alone I would suggest a sit in. Hope this helps. July 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great bargain and family kayak Bought 2 of these for my sons 7,9 first time paddlers and the are awesome. The got the hang of it within 10 min and we have used them 10x in the last 2 weeks. Today my very petite 5 yr old daughter wanted to give it a try and was instantly paddling. We have done a lot of lake paddles and 1 river so far and they feel very stable even with my 215lb aboard. I paid $199 and they went on sale to $159 3 week later and dicks credited me the $ so I am very pleased with the service. June 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great flatwater fishing kayak Beyond pleased. I've got shoulder damage and needed something light that I can carry and hoist onto my car. I have used the kayak to flyfish on flat water and haven't had any issues with stability. These are the modifications I made or will make to get it to do exactly what I want. 1. There are no side grips. I put straps through the side drain holes so that I can just lift it sideways for carrying. 2. It tends to drift to one side or the other after you stop paddling. In addition to the kayak paddle, I carry a cheap plastic paddle head for minor course corrections and short distance positioning. I think not having to bang the double-bladed kayak paddle around for short movements would be useful on any fishing kayak. Also, because it is so short and light, I plan on designing a back harness so that I can do limited hikes to lakes with no road access (Colorado). After buying and using one kayak, i bought another for my wife. June 18, 2013
