Customer Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Simple and True This rod and reel is perfect for fishing over peers where fish come in close to shore. Whats nice is that the rod is very long and can get you enough distance from the pier to drop the line straight down no matter how many feet the water is at that point. You have to have a little experience with this kind of reel or the line will tangle in the spool. October 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good Rod Poor Reel I know the reel wasn't designed for casting but just reeling in line when long line trolling is a chore. The rod is pretty good and we ended up putting a spare spinning reel on the rod. I would likely have chosen just a rod if I knew the reel was this bad. April 16, 2013
