Rated 5 out of 5 by Cezarel Most bang for your buck I would love single piece rod, but I needed a 2 piece that would fit in my car (not truck). Works as close as a single piece. I actually got 2 now, a medium light and a heavy medium. They both work great. If you use braided line, you'll be amazed by the ease of your casts as the tip of the rod does it's magic. Rated 5 out of 5 by fishingfool37 strong and durable It was sturdy and durable I caught a 30lb stingray that pull the rod almost in half and it didn't snap. Love it. August 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by kikstand454 pretty good! I got this rod to use in my kayak for inshore fishing. It is nice and light and fits my curado great. Its a pretty soft MH. But this past weekend I caught a red on it and it handled great. It casts well and is light enough to use all day. I plan to use it as a topwater rod throwing mainly spook jrs. I always take cheap rods out in the kayak just in case- but I own many high end bass rods and I feel I have the experience to say that this rod is fairly nice for the money, and if I can find a heavier one. ... I will probably buy two more for the kayak- assuming this one passes a couple of months on the durability test. July 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sarg8190 Back-up rod get first billing I purchased this rod as a back-up but after using it for a weekend it has no become my go to rod ! July 15, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by SgtRob Inferno Rod purchasee I bought this rod for my Abu Garcia Black Max bait caster. The rod works great and has nice response for a 2 piece rod. For the price I recommend this rod to anyone trying to improve their fishing skill and have a more convenient trip to the water?s edge, without having to worry about emptying their wallet. Rated 5 out of 5 by robbie0049 Premium product for the money !!!! I own 3 of these rods and absolutely love them !! I can cast so much farther with them than with my old rods . I have caught a 5lb 3 oz largemouth and landed it with ease .For the price they are made with excellent quality. I own a rod I paid $150.00 for and I like these just as well . I highly recommend these rods !!! May 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by tigerfan Nice feel for an inexpensive rod People have been talking about how this rod is a back up. I found that it is light enough to fish all afternoon, sensitive enough to distinguish bass that are not active, and enough backbone to land fish in grass with confidence. Good buy for the price. Rated 4 out of 5 by Berkshirebassfishing Great rod for a two-piece! As rods go, infernos are nothing special-Chinese chopsticks are what some call rods like these. But, finding two piece casting rods in 7 ft med heavy is not easy. However, infernos come in two piece med heavy, so I have a cheap portable casting rod. I don't push it to its limits, and it serves me nicely. Finding a two piece spinning rod is easy, there are several makes and models of those. But most two piece casting rods are 6.5 ft long or less, and always medium action. I needed a med heavy 7 ft rod for fishin on the go. The inferno handles everything I throw on it, and still manages to be lightweight. It's not the most balanced rod, but for $30, i don't expect it to be. Hey, quality rods are one piece, but its inconvenient when you're a shore fishermen or on the go to port 7' or longer rods from place to place fully extended. Infernos offer convenient and not too bad rods at a great price. April 19, 2014
