Field & Stream TEC-LITE Spinning Rods 3.9 5 7 7
Great Rod at Affordable Price I have found this UL rod to be a great caster with just the right action to control and feel lures and control and fight fish. I use it with an older Shimano Spirex 500 with 4 lb test and it is a great combo for trout and smallmouth. It has a great blend of the finesse for a 12 inch brook trout, and the muscle for a 4 lb smallie. I recently bought another so I can have two different baits ready to go when the action gets hot or I need to find what the fish want. May 14, 2013
Total Junk do yourself a favor and at least get a ugly stick this is a downgrade May 7, 2013
Grate rod This rod is awesome supper light grate for crappie. May 2, 2013
Hilarious!!! Enjoyed fishing with this new rod early this week. Best value in the Shop! I will buy another one for my son. April 25, 2013
Can't beat this rod Bought this rod caught a lot of trout and crappie very nice rod compare to the St.Croix premier and avid series. very light able to carry around like the guide no tangle very sensitive. landed a huge walleye the rode was able to handle with no problem. April 24, 2013
Not a good rod This rod felt great, good weight and balance. Only problem was on my first trout fishing trip, it snapped in half. You would think my line would break before the pole would. Seemed to be just made out of a cheap hollow plastic tube. Really wished it would have lasted more than one fishing trip. April 14, 2013
New favorite ul rod One trip to my favorite spots and I am loving this rod. Weight and balance of this rod is perfect for me. I have the 6ft 2pc ul model so i can break it down and put it inside my kayak when the rapids look hairy. The action is faster than my other ul setup. Caught numerous brown and rainbow trout and the rod preformed flawlessly. I have mine paired w a ul pfleuger pres. and 4lb flouro. (There is a typo on the rod blank that said its 6in long instead of 6ft...graphic designer had a bad day I guess) March 10, 2013
