Rated 5 out of 5 by loge Field & Stream Tec-Lite Lovin it! Great casting, great action. Use it for bass with small lures. In the past 2 weeks caught a few 3 pounders, plus a 4 and a 5. Fantastic. I had a gift certificate for Dick's and one of my old ultra-lite rods was falling apart so I got this to replace it. I made a good choice. Very sensitive for detecting light bites, too. That's probably the best part of it. Using it with 6 pound test floro. Right now, this is my favorite rod. August 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by ChillyWilly Love the feel of this rod and you can't beat the price I love the feel of this rod and for $50 you can't beat the price. I was walleye fishing this week with a friend that has a $350 custom jigging rod and when he compares the Tec-Lite to his custom he liked the Tec-Lite much more. I'm probably going to buy and UL Tec-Lit to have some fun with small panfish. July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Checksi6 Love this rod. I fish a lot of ultra light rods for Bass, Trout and Panfish. This rod is well made and balanced and is the third Field & Stream rod I own. July 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Billy Best fishing rod ever! Love the light " weighness " of the rod and the 10 eyelets. May 16, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by TuTogiak415 Overall a good rod No complaints about this rod yet. Great sensitivity and it casts well. Not sure what the benefit of the smaller eyelets really are yet but they have yet to cause any problems. I'm just hoping i don't break the line on a cold day when i can't feel my fingers. Rated 5 out of 5 by gwpjr Excellent Ultra-Light Rod I liked this rod so much that I purchased another, just to have two with slightly different setups. This is an excellent rod that does well when paired with light line and smaller weight lures or sinkers. The rod is sensitive enough to feel the lightest bite, but flexible enough to keep the shock out of the line. I was amazed when I hooked up with an 6lb catfish and was able to reel it on this rod. Rated 5 out of 5 by rammer17 fantastic rod im an avid stream fisherman and was looking to upgrade my ultralight combo with a cost effective rod. although initially questionable about the field and stream brand of fishing products, this rod comes with the features of a higher end St. Croix and is packed with all the components I want in a rod: cork split grips, small upper handle, solid reel seat, 30 ton graphite blank, and micro guides. this rod is comfortable, balanced, and a breeze to fish with, all for under $50. unfortunately, after being much too harsh trying to unsnag my lure I snapped this rod in half, but am undoubtedly going to make a claim on my no sweat protection plan and get a replacement. buying this rod is a no brainer.
