Rated 5 out of 5 by Willie I've been using these bands for years!! These are the best bands you'll ever see on the market, hands down. If you "over stretch" them, or don't use them properly, they will break, much like any other piece of equipment, but considering there's a website and instructional videos on HOW to use and care for these products, they last years (easily) without breaking. My first set was about three years in of every day usage, until I broke a band. So, for the price, and the great workouts, I'm ok with that. I've been in the fitness industry for a few years, and have been back and forth with these bands and the free weights at the gym, and don't have any regrets when I can't get to the gym, because I know these bands have me covered. Traveling? Easy. Roll them up in the bag and go. I went on a trip to Puerto Rico for a week and didn't miss a beat. It was great. Squats, Hamstring curls, Bicep Curls, Tricep press-downs, Resisted Chest Press, Resisted Ab Crunch, Standing Ab twist, etc... these bands are like having a weighted pulley machine in your house for a fraction of the price. I say that, within a week, you get the learning curve of the equipment down, and you're good to go. May 11, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hashi Seems ok but already failed after 2 months The resistance bands are ok. The finish on the outside of them seems pretty good at first but even using them with just socks (no shoes) the finish has rubbed off a bit and they feel a bit too tacky in places. After only 2 months of use, the green 20lb band broke while in use. I have broken an exercise band before so I was careful with this one. It broke at the attachment point and there is no way to re-attach it. The design is a bit flawed as well. When using them as show on the packaging, the carabiner clips that connect the handles to the bands often impact or dig into your arms and it is very uncomfortable and can cause bruising.
