ACTEVA® LITE cushioning system provides the same amount of protection as regular midsoles but with less weight. New Balance Running shoes I used them for Tough Mudder and they worked Great for traction in mud! and very comfortable until I got rocks in around my ankles lol May 8, 2013
awesome Always the best as I expect from nb. Very breathable, soft and like wearing nothing with the net material. The grip on these are amazing especially since there is no flat land here, I don't slip walking down wet grassy hills anymore. They can be a little slippery on smooth man made surfaces when wet though but not much. They were a bit narrow for my fat feet but take about a day to wear in since they are narrow but they wear in well, the wide ones may have been too wide the next day. May 1, 2013

Mud run I picked these up for eventual use in mud runs when they wear in and don't look so nice anymore. They are light, flexible with good feel for the terrain. The toe cap is durable and abrasion resistant but a little too thin if you are worried about impact protection. The shoes breathe very well, which is good for quick drying after water obstacles. The price is right if you get them on sale and use the rewards coupons, but I would not pay more than $60 for them. April 16, 2013
