Rated 1 out of 5 by You get what you pay for No surprises here. For the amount of money I spent on it, (about $30 plus shipping), it is amazing. Okay, so the really good tent cots (meaning a cot whose feet will not destroy your tent floor) cost upwards of $200. I thought I could get close, and while bottom fishing for a cot to replace my $50 cot, I came across this google searching online. Not only is it way to hard to put together, but the parts don't fit right, and once I did get it mostly put together, (I gave up because I was thinking about me getting off of my motorcycle at the campground, putting up my tent, and then spending an hour playing with my cot!) and decided to move on. This is going back to Dicks first opportunity this week. I did get it mostly put together, and then realized I neglected to pay attention to the width measurement, when I got it mostly together, set it on the three feet I could get connected, and looked at how wide it was, and realized I would not even really fit on it. This cot is a good size for a tall thin kid. Quality of the parts seemed fine, but, way too hard to assemble for a grown man. Back it goes. September 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better than expected When it comes to reviews, it's all about having reasonable expectations. So, with that in mind I give this cot 4 stars. This isn't a $200 cot... this isn't even a $50 cot... It's a $30 cot and for the price and (for me) more importantly the size and weight of it, it's worth every penny. Putting it together was a snap. Any full grown adult who struggles with putting this together either doesn't get the concept of leverage or seriously needs to consider eating more protein to build some muscle. Lay the cot bottom side up with the length running perpendicular, insert the side poles, stick one side of the leg in a whole nearest you, and then pull the other end toward you slightly and watch it pop right into the other hole. Easy. Now do that 3 more times and you've got a cot. On the downside, it is wobbly once you get on it, but it's not going to fall apart on you. The holes for the legs are deep enough to ensure it the legs won't pop out but the diameter is larger than the legs which allows for some wobbling. I tossed and turned on the thing testing it's stability and I'm convinced it will hold my 190lbs with no problems. I'd not very wide, so side sleeping is questionable. All in all it's not the best cot you'll find, but for the price, size, and weight this thing is well worth the money. June 2, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Takes superhuman strength to assemble I read a couple of negative reviews before I purchased this, but thought I would give it a chance, since it was the only inexpensive, low-to-the-ground cot I could find. And I am pretty good at figuring things out even with bad instructions. The instructions were almost non-existent, but I had figured out how it was supposed to assemble, including that two of the side supports were slightly angled so that the head end would be slightly higher. But all of the bottom support pieces needed to be compressed in under tension several inches in order to fit into the holes in the side pieces. It just was not going to happen. And it was clear from the design that this would have to be done every time you used the cot unless you left it completely assembled. That would not work.If you are very strong and want to be able to show off your strength every time you assemble the cot, you might be able to use and enjoy this. Otherwise, forget it. May 27, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Ridiculous product Bought for two 10 year old boys. Am returning immediately. The cot has many many many pieces that need to be put together. Not userfriendly at all. December 21, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by NOT A WISE PURCHASE This product is not easy to assembled. Parts do not match. I returned merchandise. December 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Truck/Tent Camping One reviewer stated she was a woman who set this up.. she must be a better man than me :) It takes some strength (especially when it's cold and dark) but with some more use it will sadly probably get easier (less taunt). To heavy to hike with but with a pad on a cold (37F) night, you'll be glad you brought it. Could only buy online (which I have no problem with) but would think they would sell just fine from the shelf. November 12, 2013
