Rated 5 out of 5 by noa2by2 Very nice kayak I own five kayaks in a variety of sizes and configurations. I often take friends out in my boats and often have fewer boats then requests so I decided to buy a tandem. While looking at many tandems I realized that they can often be on trick ponies difficult to paddle for one person. Then I saw the Rambler one person or two or even three under the right circumstances. Seemed like a good deal then I took it out on the water, Man I love this kayak, granted it isn't as fast as some of my other boats but it is stable, tracks well no matter how many are aboard and it will haul gear. My dogs love it I take two small dogs and occasionally a cat plenty of room for everyone. This boat may not be for everyone but if you are looking for a versatile, affordable, quality tandem take a look at the rambler. You won't be disappointed. August 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by sls Love this! My husband and I had two single kayaks and decided on a tandem for river trips. We were looking at much more expensive ones thinking $1000. was what we would have to spend on one. We just happened to be walking through Dick's Sporting goods and saw this one. It is an excellent buy at $450. and the quality rivals our other two Ocean brand kayaks. It is very stable and tracks nicely. July 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ser4jc Glad we choose this kayak. My husband & I r beginning kayakers. We started out with 2 singles. He wanted to try a tandem over some small rapids in a local river. The vessel handled better than we imagined. We were very impressed how stable it was & how well it tracked. The space between riders is wonderful for hauling a medium ice chest. Make sure you buy a long paddle because this kayak sits a little higher off the water than most singles. A short paddle will cause you to have to reach deeper when stroking the water. If you can find a color darker get it because white is harder to keep clean. Other than that, we love this kayak. May 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by MrReelreviews Rigged it for fishing, now I'm never home! This boat is awesome, it beening my first boat I wasn't to sure about the brand, considering your hear more about the other guys all the time, hobie, ocean, wilderness. I took a chance and bought it because of its size, to bring friends, then started fishing in the ocean and the flats, in able to cruise in 4in off water with two including myself, thats awesome. I've stood to cast but you must be limber on your feet February 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tonythewoodsman Buy one, or two before they are gone. I bought one a couple months ago. My wife and I own several different kayaks. The Rambler is the most stable kayak I have ever tried .I can bring just about anything along that I want; A big cooler, big tackle box, anchor., fishing pole. I bring cushions along. Why? So I can put the seat backrest down and take a nap on this kayak! I take toddlers along and they feel very secure on the kayak. One note, I bought a role of Velcro to put on the seat surfaces so the seat doesn't slide around. I just bought a second Rambler to bring my novice friends out with me. June 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by John Nice kayak New to the sport and was looking for something to do with my kids. Decided this kayak fit our needs. Have used it on a couple of brief outings in the waterway and like it. Tracks straight and seems very stable. My son keep lunging to one side to drag his hand in the water and it never felt unstable (he is 8 ). It also seemed to paddle a little easier than I expected with just me doing the work. It is heavy as one would expect but manageable. Would recommend for anyone looking for a tandem on a tight budget. June 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ryan23 Awesome Kayak I have had a few single kayaks in the past that were very fast so I was nervous about buying this one. I can tell you this thing is extremely stable and easy to use. It isn't fast really but I bought it so I could take my little boy out knowing he wouldn't be helping paddle. I take it out all the time alone also and the only thing bad I can say is that if you try and steer from the middle seat it doesn't work well, it spins sideways and very hard to keep it tracking straight but the back seat works perfect alone. I only take mine in the ocean also and the waves and current aren't usually an issue. Overall its a great kayak!! June 26, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Greg NICE KAYAK, WE HAVE 2 AND LOVE THEM WE LOVE TAKING OUR 2 TANDEM RAMBLERS CAMPING WITH US. WE GO ON LAKES AND RIVERS WITH NO ISSUES WHAT SO EVER. IT TRACKS VERY NICE AND IS VERY STABLE. THE ONLY COUPLE OF ISSUES THAT I HAVE WITH THE KAYAK IS THE WEIGHT WHICH IS EXPECTED BECAUSE OF IT BEING A TANDEM AND IT HAS HOLES WHERE YOU SIT TO STABLE THE KAYAK WHICH MEANS YOU ARE NOT GOING TO STAY DRY IF YOU ARE IN THE REAR SEAT. ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A TALLER SEAT AS THE BACK GETS A BIT SORE FROM THE SEAT. May 29, 2014
