Very good ball for med. to med. high handicap player. Distance, ball flight and touch around the green was very good. The sale price was also a good benefit. Buy a Box!

Terrific Intermediate Ball
The Q-Star is a great golf ball for someone who enjoys the game but isn't skilled/rich enough to play the Pro-V or Penta. It gives good feed back and flies true and straight off the tee but still has the ability for some spin around the green.

A perfect combo for a great price - note this is the last year version not spin skin
In general I love Srixon golf balls. They are very consistent and have a good combination of features and a reasonably understandable product line. The QStar last year had a great soft but live feel that sounds right off the face (Taylormade RocketBallz while they remind me of my old balata balls are a little too dead, Nike One Tour Rezin is very clicky, this is just right). Ball is straight off the tee (not a huge problem for me), parks on the green. I feel like I get everything that the ZStar (especially given my current play level) for a price that doesn't make me cringe on the occasional ball to places unknown. I just hope the new version doesn't really tweak the mix too much.
