Picture is deceiving We purchased this jacket online because of the price. It seemed like a good deal for what I was looking at and the description given. When we received the package it came in a very small bag. I was confused given the picture online seemed to make it look a lot thicker. The material was very thin and we live in Chicago, so I was concerned that for the price it was not going to keep my husband warm. He said as long as he had a sweater underneath he was, so if you are looking to just wear a coat in weather such as Chicago's this might not protect you from the bitter cold as the description implies. Other than that if my husband is satisfied, then I am satisfied. January 21, 2015
Great light weight jacket! I bought this for my husband who is 6'4 and weighs about 240 lbs. It fits him very well, both length wise and across the chest. He loves this jacket! January 20, 2015
Just what I was looking for. Most helpful employee, Tara for ordering on line as it was not available in our Rutland, VT store. January 18, 2015
Comfortable and light Light, comfortable, looks good, color goes with any thing I wear. Wear it for casual or dress up. January 16, 2015
Good jacket. I bought the jacket for a trip to Chicago this winter. It got down to -10 while I was there and I was warm the entire time. I did have to throw on a wind breaker to help with the wind there but other than that the jacket. I especially like the ability to tuck the jacket into it's own pocket to help store it when I went into a building or go onto a train. Over all good jacket. January 14, 2015
Love it! Bought this for my husband for a ski trip. Although he hasn't worn yet he loved it when tried on. True to size. Great looking jacket. January 13, 2015
Best bang for the buck I got this jacket when it was on sale for $130 and I couldn't be happier with purchase. It's very lightweight and 700 fill down keeps me warm even when the temperature is in the 20's After reading some customer reviews, one had mentioned that they wear a size medium and their height and weight are same as mine. So, I also purchased a medium but it was actually too big. The bottom of the jacket doesn't contour around the waist and causes your body temperature to escape. I exchanged it out for a size small and I am loving the fit and style. January 12, 2015
Best I've Evee Owned Simply great. Worth the money and more. Have worn it skiing, mountain biking, hiking and everyday use. Takes okay amount of abuse but I'm not pushing it, too nice and comfortable to roll around in it and try to ruin it. I'm buying a second one for that. Seems, zippers and pockets all maintaining great. January 3, 2015
Good Jacket I was hoping that this would be a quality jacket, and it is. They say 700 fill down, and I believe them now that I have the jacket. So far, no leaking down, no bad seams, just good manufacturing. Not sure yet as to the treatment for water resistance, but feel that it will be fine. Warm to a degree, depending on the layering I have on. We are not as cold as northern states, but when it is cold here, it seems colder due to the humidity, and this jacket is just right. All in all, I like it, and would buy a Marmot again. January 3, 2015
A great jacket alone or as a layer The shorter torso on this jacket is perfect for layering. It'll never hang below your outer shell and doesn't add extra bulk at your hips. It also stays in place instead of riding up. January 2, 2015
