Rated 5 out of 5áby Light and warm Took this jacket boarding under a shell on a low 30's day. Not bulky, warm. April 2, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5áby Good insulating layer Marmot Apollo: The first thing I should mention is this jacket is very light and very thin, which makes it great for insulation, but not so great for an outer layer. The outside skin is not durable enough for an outer layer and will NOT protect you from the elements, so you will definitely need a shell over it in most cases. (I noticed a review of a different jacket on this site, so read carefully) As an insulating layer, it works well. It is clearly advertised as 700 fill, so don't expect 800 fill performance and you won't be disappointed. It's extremely light and comfortable. I snowboard and hike in Colorado, & it kept me warm, with base layers and a shell, without being too bulky in zero degree temps. The Steel color is awesome; more like silver, so it goes well with just about anything. I bought it on the 40% off sale, and at $100 it's a reasonable value. Full price would be a bit much, IMO. Rated 4 out of 5áby Runs Small This was a very nice jacket, but actually ran a size small. Caught it on sale at end of season and returned it, but they didn't have my larger size. Appeared to be good quality though. March 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Good fit and well made but not as insulating as indicated in the description Overall a good jacket. Fits well, true sizing and seems well made. It also is light weight which is great benefit. However, I bought the jacket for extreme cold which is what was listed in the description. I noticed when in the single digits or even 20's it's not all that warm. Or at least not as I would expected. March 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Marmot Jacket Love this jacket! Bought it for skiing last week and it was perfect. I was never cold and the light weight of it was very comfortable. I would highly recommend it. March 11, 2014
