Rated 1 out of 5 by Club broke on Second Use I bought these clubs because I didn't want to spend too much money, being a beginner golfer. I went golfing with friends over the weekend. One friend is really experienced (parents have owned a golf course for over 30 years), and he knows what he's doing. I was using the 8 iron and after swinging, I watched the head of the club almost go farther than the ball! He said I hit the ball just fine, said the clubs were too cheaply made and to take them back. They were a good deal, but I want a set that's going to last me more than 2 rounds of golf. Don't buy these clubs. August 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great clubs for the price I've been playing with my TI's for a couple of months now and find them very forgiveing and easy to use. Can't remember the last time I've hit a drive so far. The irons go straighter and farther also. Used to play with Cobra driver's and calaway irons, since purchasing the TI'S I've given them to my son in law. Expensive is not always the best. July 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid set of beginner's clubs I hadn't golfed in nearly 10 years and needed to know if I could physically endure a round of golf, after a long illness, before I sank any serious cash into clubs. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised of the quality and performance of the clubs. I was, however, a little disappointed that the set didn't come with a rain cover. July 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great driver I specifically like the driver because it makes a really nice sound when teeing off. June 29, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Clubs will break Bought clubs 2 weeks ago. 3 and 5 woods and driver all broke. Clean solid hits all 3 times and the heads went flying. Don't buy. June 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great set for beginners! the irons are very thick and forgiving which is great. and Learning to hit hybrids has been a whole new thing. the driver is not so great but its does the job for a beginner set. the perfect set for those who are starting to get serious about taking some strokes off their game. Rated 1 out of 5 by WARNING: Do NOT get this set Although the price is quite alluring, the quality is quite poor. I have broken my six, nine and pitching wedge upon MINIMAL use of this set ( 6 rounds ). I had to take the nine iron back for reshafting and attachment. Definite issues with the stresses that these clubs can take. June 17, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Clubs break. I bought this set less than a year ago. Have golfed with them maybe a dozen times or so. In this time, 3 clubs have broken on me. First it was my 3 wood. Hole #1 of my second round. I made a clean hit with the ball, but the club head went flying. Dicks replaced the club for me, but even the replacement broke during my next round with it. Alright. Whatever. That's fine. I just won't have a 3 wood. Today, my driver just broke at the range. Once again, made a clean hit and the club head went flying. Very frustrated and disappointed in these clubs. June 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Driver Head Flies Off after minimal use On my first outing to the driving range the driver head flew off the shaft and out into the driving range after hitting only 6 balls. I exchange the driver shaft (didn't want to risk my life to retrieve the head) for another driver from a different set. My second attempt at the driving range with the new driver, I experienced the same problem. The head came flying off the shaft and flew down the driving range. This time it occurred after about hitting a dozen balls. I can understand the first time as being a fluke, but it happened with both. I was pleased with the drivers and the bag. But with the driver problem, I was concerned that the other clubs would have issues as well. I promptly returned the entire set. June 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by great set for beginner or first new set Im sort of a beginner. Have played a few times a year over last several years decided to get more serious. Bought the xl set first and thought they just seemed a little cheaper than i wanted. I took them back and traded up to the xl ti i love theese clubs for the$$$. Can hit the ball with much more controll and the feel off the club is better. May 30, 2014
