Minn Kota Endura Max Freshwater Transom Mount Trolling Motors 9 9
Love it This is my second Minn Kota. I use this one on a square stern canoe. Sure beats trying to paddle while fishing. July 8, 2014
Awesome Engine Just used my new Endura Max 55 lb thrust trolling motor with the 36" shaft this past weekend on my Sea Eagle 9, 12 foot inflatable motor-mount boat. What a difference between this engine and my old Minn Kota 24 lb thrust model. The engine was super-quiet and the increased thrust was noticeable. I was able to troll around the Manasquan Reservoir, which is a fairly large body of water, all day long. The Digital Maximizer works as advertised. After 8 hours of starting/stopping and trolling, I still had slightly more than 50% of my battery life left at the end of the day as per my deep cycle battery charger. I also loved the fully variable throttle so that I'm not limited to pre-set forward (5) and reverse (3) speeds like I was with my old motor. My only small complaint is the length of the cables that come out of the engine and attach to the battery. I'm sure for most "real" boats the length isn't an issue but due to the distance between the motor-mount on my inflatable and where the battery box sits, I wish either that the cables were slightly longer (no more than 6 inches or so) or, in the alternative, that Minn Kota sold an extension kit. After emailing them, it turns out that they do not but they did provide me with the wire type and gauge so I should be able to make my own extensions. All in all, I couldn't be happier with this engine and would recommend it all day, everyday. June 25, 2014
Awesome Trolling motor!!! I bought this motor as a replacement to another Minn Kota 55 Endura C2 that fell off the transom of my boat and was dragged 1/4 mile and got destroyed. I am not positive if the nuts loosened up or if I forgot to tighten them down enough. Never the less I purchased the extended warranty both from Minn Kota as well as From DSG. Minn Kota stood behind their warranty and replaced my damaged motor with a reconditioned one and delivered it within 3 to 4 days. I am very impressed with the way they handled my accident and the speed I had another replacement. Now for the Endura Max, I have used it only for 2 full days 6 hours and 7 hours each day steady trolling. This motor allows you to dial in your speed to the exact speed you want to troll at without Clicking back and forth between 4th and 5th gear, or speed whatever. I usually troll at 2.2 to 2.5 and landed a 5.4 pound Brown Trout and a 4.7 ounce Lake Trout due to the accuracy of my speed control. Thank you Minn Kota and God for my new personal Best Brown trout. Great motor for my needs Very happy with this motor so far. The variable speed is excellent for slowly going along the bank casting for bass. The 55 lb. thrust is great for getting to an area faster. Most places I fish are trolling motor only, so this motor fits my needs very well. April 17, 2014
Efficient light to carry Nice all around trolling motor for my 14 ft Mirro Craft as well as my canoe. Fantastic deal through Dicks Sporting Goods along with a $25 rebate from Minn Kota.. April 16, 2014
Digital Maximizer: Game Changing Technology I have to admit that I have in fact returned this trolling motor but only because I've elected to power my Gheenoe with a more powerful gas motor. For a Gheenoe, jon boat or inflatable this is great unit that gets you out on the water without breaking the bank. After my experience with the Minn Kota I wouldn't even consider another brand. They can't and don't compare. March 25, 2014
MinnKota Endure Max Transom-Mount Trolling Motor Seems to be a great motor. Haven't had the unit but a few weeks. Used it fishing three times. The Maximizer unit seems to save battery usage. Love to be able to tell how much charge I have left on the battery when the unit is not in use. July 26, 2013
Carp Boat Motor I bought the 55# to replace my 30#. The plastic shaft might be indestructable but it squeaks so bad you cannot sneak along at all. I tried all kinds of oil to no avail. I contacted Minn Kota but have never gotten a reply. May 18, 2013
Excellent Got this at dicks. 245 bucks but got 10% off and then minn kota gave me an additional 20 gift card for a promotion. total around 199. So its a minn kota need i say more.! i back troll alot in my aluminum 14 ft v hull its just so much more easier to control that way in south floridas bi-directional windy conditions. around all the inland islands, i went from 3/4 usage on a battery to just under 1/2 on a 10 hour day, the ability so select precise speeds is superior to the click every 20% on other motors. its like an actual motor throttle, plenty of power and the main cable is long enough to be out of the way, the retractable handle is good for sitting farther back when more ppl are in the boat.
