Carp Boat Motor
I bought the 55# to replace my 30#. The plastic shaft might be indestructable but it squeaks so bad you cannot sneak along at all. I tried all kinds of oil to no avail. I contacted Minn Kota but have never gotten a reply.

Excellent
Got this at dicks. 245 bucks but got 10% off and then minn kota gave me an additional 20 gift card for a promotion. total around 199.
So its a minn kota need i say more.! i back troll alot in my aluminum 14 ft v hull its just so much more easier to control that way in south floridas bi-directional windy conditions. around all the inland islands, i went from 3/4 usage on a battery to just under 1/2 on a 10 hour day, the ability so select precise speeds is superior to the click every 20% on other motors. its like an actual motor throttle, plenty of power and the main cable is long enough to be out of the way, the retractable handle is good for sitting farther back when more ppl are in the boat.
