Rated 5 out of 5 by LKCVA Best rimfire scope I have ever used
I have this and the 3-9 variant on a 597 and 10/22 respectively. This one is the best overall rimfire scope I have ever used. Once it is zeroed to 50yd you never have to touch it for 25-75yds, which is 100% of my use.

Easy install. Took me about 5 clips to sight spot on straight out of the box. Great value for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HH Quality rimfire scope
This ProStaff scope is an ideal size for a small rimfire rifle such as a Browning BL22. Excellent optics for a moderate priced scope. Same Nikon quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by johnny5 PRICED OK AND IT,S A NIKON
GREAT little scope just about the perfect size for my bad boy R9 beeman and is holding up fine to spring air . I have all nikon scopes. All have excellent glass for price point can,t go wrong life warranty . Note; the only thing i would say needs to be is optional sticker mounting and make alloy caps .I do not really like plastic come on nikon give option for nicer turret caps or wear to buy them .

Rated 5 out of 5 by Teatang Amazing clarity and accurate too!
This is the first "real" scope I've ever owned. I have a free Tasco 4x15 that came with my Marlin 60, but this thing is totally different. I mounted it on my new Marlin XT-22. I it use for plinking, target shooting and small game hunting. It sighted in easily. It's super clear and I can't believe how well it works near sunset. I've lugged it for miles through the woods and hardly noticed the weight. Best of all, it looks beautiful on my rifle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michigan Appleseeder Nice scope
I use this with a 10/22 at Project Appleseed shoots and it is ideal. The optics are very clear. Fixed 4x is a good choice--over magnification can cause shooters to fuss their shots rather than trusting their natural point of aim. (Wish I could still use iron sights but my eyes won't hold up their end anymore.)
One point--these scopes are NOT 1/4 MOA per click. They are 1/4" per click at 50 yards, which is 1/2 MOA. To me, for field shooting this is not a big deal; absolute worst case, you are 1/2 click off your point of aim. Someday I hope to be a good enough shooter to be annoyed by that 1/16" at 25y, 1/8" at 50y, or 1/4" at 100y, and then I'll buy a scope that costs several times as much to get this clarity and the finer adjustment.
With medium height rings on a a Weaver rail I did not have to remove the rear sight. A little pipe insulation and vet wrap and I was in business.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Esox Not as advertised
Although on this very site Nikon states this scope to be 1/4" MOA adjustable, it is not. I just received mine, and on the adjustment knobs, and in the the enclosed literature, it very clearly state that this is a 1/2" MOA scope.

Was looking to buy this scope and while surfing thru Dick's on-line, I found it at $60.00 off
so I bought it. Easy to mount and adjust and is extremely accurate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Luke typical Nikon quality
Quite a few places reported out of stock on this scope. The scope exhibits excellent optics. The price was a little higher than out of stock discount locations and sales tax was charged,, but no shipping costs. Scope was mounted on a 10/22 - Warne two piece bases and Weaver low rings top with detach. Had to remove rear sight for scope to clear, but okay as allowed the scope to mount low.. Be careful to get the elevation adjustment on top and windage on right. This may interfere with ejection and bolt hold open.
