Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by real good trail cam I tried this trail can for a week and I believe that I am going to have a good hunting season .got some great pictures at night of some big bucks. July 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice, cheap cam i got this camera as a gift, being the first one i have had i was happy to test it out. It works just fine and you get a few months on one set of batteries. The only problem i have is the 1 minute delay in between pictures, but to make this less of a problem i always keep it on video setting, which takes 10 second videos. Perfect for a use in the woods since you dont find yourself always having a brushfree or treefree area much bigger tham 50ft. i like this camo better than the A-5, and this product has been in use for more than a year, works great. Rated 1 out of 5 by SAVE YOUR MONEY Daytime pictures are ok at best. Night pictures are totally black except for the reflection of eyes, nothing else. This occurs even when the subject is very close to the camera. Have seen this comment in other reviews. I sent an email to the manufacturer asking why this happens. Received an automatic response saying thanks for your question but 2-weeks later nothing more. Wish I had received the receipt so I could return the camera. Without a receipt it now goes in the trash, pure junk. July 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by D5 Moultrie Reasonable Price. Easy to set up. Only takes 4 batteries. July 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Moultrie D5 5MP IR Trail Camera excellent camera for tracking deer on my property/clear pictures/easy to use/good price July 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A bargain Does what a good trail camera should do. Would like to have a wider range on the screen. Camera is very easy to use and set up. June 24, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by lots of false positives I bought this because it was on sale and my buddy raved about his. Initial deployment was for 10 days and it acquired 30 photos, 3 of which were of actual deer. It also took a picture of a large blackbird so I guess I'm willing to count that as a legitimate target. So accounting for that, why 26 out of 30 pictures of background? Then I walked in front of it at a range of about 10 yards and picture was underexposed. On the plus side, the camera is very easy to use and pictures are of decent quality. I was hoping for better false alarm performance than my Wildview camera that I had previously purchased at Dick's, but so far the comparably priced Wildview is coming out ahead. I'm less concerned about picture quality than I am about false positives. Perhaps light fluctuations and/or moving branches are causing trigger, but then what is the point of passive infrared if it triggers on that? Wouldn't be a bad idea if cameras created their own logs on SD card that would record triggering data. This could then be uploaded to tech support for review. June 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Camera & fair price. The Camera is very easy to use. I takes great pictures Yes. It Value as well. I used it to shoot the Red fox (See Atachment) June 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by One picture made it worth every penny Set this up after a day of turkey hunting. Hoped to at least see some deer and whatever else was slinking around at night next to a horse pasture. This pic of turkeys was the only one of turkeys (had the delay on 5 minutes), but was super pleased anyway. Had lots of pictures of nothing but trees, but that's due to the tree swaying and things blowing around. Easy to use and works fine. April 24, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY My back yard is conservation land. I bought this to hopefully capture some wildlife pics. Not sure what actually triggers this camera to take a pic, but when it decides to, I get nothing but backyard. I was doing yard work two days ago in front of the camera. Do you think I had any pics of me working -- NOT. This is a piece of junk. I need to dig up my receipt and return it to Dick's. April 14, 2014
