Rated 1 out of 5 by tried a second moultrie d-5 Reviewed 10/7/14 & complained about false trigger. Re-trying cam w/new sd card, got 4000 pics. Took it back. Dicks associate said it was uncommon for this cam to have issues, so I tried another (he was very pleasant and professional). This time I tried video and put it in open field, not where I wanted, too see if trigger did the same thing. It did. 347 videos, 346 of nothing, but one video DID have my 1st deer! Nice video, but out of 347? So I moved it (felt adventurous) to the woods, but looking down trail, nothing in its way for 40 feet. Darn strap bracket (very cheap plastic), snapped off. Are you kidding me? Got it rigged on tree since we walked that far. Will check next weekend BUT will pull it and return. Hate to say, and maybe their higher-end cams are better, but do not waste your money OR time on this cam! October 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice camera & nice pics I put the camera together and played with it. It is fairly similar to my old Moultrie Camera. yet updated. It worked with no problems and we are quite happy with it. October 13, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is easy to use The game camera is simple and the instructions that come with it explain all the features and how to use them. I put the camera into use soon as I opened the box and it worked perfect, just as advertised. The IR feature is great so there is no indication of when it is taking pictures. I tested both the video and still features and got clear pictures from both. I used a "picture frame" viewer to look at the pictures. The SD card was easily accessable and compatible with the picture frame viewer. A viewer is available from the manufacturer but the picture frame viewer cost only $39.00 at Wal-Mart and gives the same results. The case is rugged and shockproof and the mounting strap is thick and durable. For the money this is the best product on the market! October 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by D5 trail cam Great buy! I have five of these cameras and they all work great October 9, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by false trigger shots kill this cam! This is my third cam. Wildgame went back after 2 weeks, random pics, missed many (saw deer slowly walk past it, didnt take a pic). Stealth 8mp, unbelievable pics, great trigger and recovery, pain to see pics since sd card was configured for just the cam, had to bring laptop in woods. Got over that but lasted one season, now dead! Tried moultrie d-5 (a-5), first week out 2692 pics! Trigger took pics ever minute for 2 days until sd was full. Website even has FAQ explaining setup and how to avoid, but they are wrong! Great cam for open lots, not the woods. Used stealth cam in exact spot and tree and got deer pics. Moultrie needs to listen to their customers and understand that some folks use this cam in the woods where there are trees! Their trigger shouldnt go off because the sun is hitting the tree 40 feet away. Pics were clear, but I got sick of looking at 2700 pics, day and night, of same tree! October 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by 140 pics @ day easy , everything birds , squirrels , deers , foxes , coons , people , 4 wheelers & on !!! Only dislike is not all pics are in color ? Other than that works Good ... October 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for the price I have two of these cameras up and both are working great. I run one with video and one with high resolution pictures. Night shots are very clear. There is one small problem while it is taking pictures in the forest where rays of light shine through (around mid day) in that it has a hard time adjusting the aperture setting. But for the price, it works really well. September 30, 2014
