Good minimalist pack, but broke down on me
I received this hydration as a gift a few months ago. I have used it for a 9 mile hike once, and it performed great, had no problems with it. It is good for someone who does not need too much space other than a phone, your water, a snack and maybe a jacket or something in the bungee cords.
However, about three weeks after receiving it, I was using it at track practice and the bite valve began to leak at times, especially after you bit down on the valve too hard. It usually could be remedied with pushing back the valve into the tube temporarily, but now I am probably going to keep the pack but replace the hydration system with something of higher quality. I would not recommend it for this reason, but it may be my fault. I would recommend buying a hydration pack and system of a little higher quality.
