Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by this game camera takes great pics., Easy to set up and use. Daytime pics have great color, sharp and clear! Night time pics dont pick up as far away but still caught pictures of the bear that had been being so distructive on the property where we observing! August 31, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Expensive paper weight This is my first trail camera and I didn't buy it at Dicks, but I want others to be aware. Out of the box, I couldn't program the correct date. The year was stuck on 2013 and wouldn't change. The day light pictures were of decent quality, but night pictures are pretty poor. I had it in the field 3 to four weeks and it quit. I changed the batteries and was able to set the time and date (with the year still on 2013). It still won't take pictures and the date is still where I set it. I bought this camera on impulse, then read the online reviews. I'm not going to mess with warranty. Why go through the hassel for more of the same? August 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice at the clearance price! I bought two of the Reaper Trail Cams when they were on clearance. At the low clearance price they are a good buy. Day pics are really good, but night pics are just ok. At night, the deer has to be really close to cam to be seen. But I'm using it now before season opens and have them placed over corn & mineral lick combo. So the deer are close and I get good pics. Trigger speed seems fine and will pick up deer further then 30ft during the day. Have had for a month now and have over 1000 pics and still on 1st set of batteries. Easy to set up too. Yes, you can get a better trail cam for more money. But I'm pleased with the Reaper at the price I paid. Attached pics were all taken August 2014. August 19, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by iliveinthewoods I do not write reviews, but I will make an exception for this camera. The pros to this camera can be seen with it still in the box. It takes AA batteries, it is small, and astetically pleasing. During operation the trigger speed is dreadfully slow. The IR flash is ridiculously narrow and shallow. This quality of the pictures are good but only in a really small confined area. At night good luck getting the flash to reach past 20 feet. During the day I guess you could hope something triggers the camera when your deer is around so you might get a picture of him. I replaced my D-55 Moultrie with this camera and will go back to the "at least" 4yr old C cell setup. This camera is not worth your purchase. I do not like to return items, but would if I had not thrown the box away. Please consider other options. August 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value Great value. Purchased in clearance for $53, and for that price it's hard to beat. Came with a 4GB card, not a 2GB. Fast trigger, small size, easy to program, convenient AA batteries, and the image quality is on par with units costing twice as much. Cannot comment on the reliability yet, but hopefully it will last. August 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice trail cam Good pictures day and night, but beware, do not view pictures through your tv, use computer or camera to view because night pics will look pitch black through your tv, overall very good camera August 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works great! Put out a bag of corn and put this camera on it. Had 495 pics of deer in the first 7 days. Should have bought a few more. Takes great day and night pics. August 11, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by unreliable I purchased two stealth cam pro's a little over a month ago. Set both camera's and were getting great pic's. Last week when I was switching SD cards I noticed one of the camera's s screens were blank. I changed batteries thinking that could be it. It was not, with new batt's the camera would blink for a minute and go blank.. Called the number on the back and since it is under warranty had to send it off. They told me it will be a little over a month turn around time.. Not too happy about that.. I guess you get what you pay for.... August 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by just as promised The Stealth Cam I recently purchased is my first online purchase from Dicks and it was a good experience. The transaction was convenient and quick, the package arrived quickly and in good shape, and it did just what the description said it would. I have tested it every way I had time for and will enjoy it more over time and use. I am using it for both wildlife and security. I have recommended it to my son-in-law to augment his deer/predator watching network. The camera seems to compare very favorably to similar items available value to price. Now I have an online account with Dick's and a grandson--how handy is that? August 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by pretty good camera I was pleased that it was small and took AA batteries. I have only used it for a couple of weeks. I have found it to have a good trigger speed but I would not say the pics are very high quality. It shows me what is moving through the area so that's what I need. It does trigger quite far away in daylight. Probably 80-100 feet. Night shots are not great unless within the thirty feet they say. August 9, 2014
