Purchased to take on a short camping trip. Started leaking from the drain spout before we even left our house. Returning it for a refund ASAP .

I love this cooler, it holds a ton of beverages and seem to keep the ice much longer than a regular cooler. The only complaint I have is that after I used it I found it at Walmart for $19 less.

junk. Wheels broke first time ever used. New coolers are junk. Get an old one from a yard sale.

We purchased this cooler for the all day football games for our boys. It has been a lifesaver keeping drinks and lunch cold.

Great quality and value for the price. I used it for a five day camping trip and upon returning home everything was still cold.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dan Heavy Duty Wheels?
One of the heavy duty wheels fell off two weeks after I purchased this cooler. I like the idea of the cooler on wheels but come on lets make sure he wheels are "heavy duty". On my way back to exchange.

by ASH Great with few flaws
-It does actually keep things cold for five or more days. I tested it out using frozen water bottles. On the 5th day is when they really started to melt. They kept everything in the cooler cold for the whole week
-Color variety. A cooler is a cooler and serves one purpose, so it shouldn't matter what color it is. However, its nice that Coleman decided to offer new color combinations to make your cooler stand out from the rest.
-Wheels and handle are sturdy. The rolling handle extension itself was smooth and pulled out with ease. Only negative I found was that if there was too much weight in the cooler then the handle seemed to bend only slightly when you tilted. Pulling it felt secure.
-Solid construction. You can sit on this or just use it as a table. Either way, this cooler feels like a solid block of wood. Even the sides feel solid and not bendy when you poke at them.
-Cup holders. Who doesn't want cup holders?
-The drain hole in the bottom is just a bonus. While this cooler may not be that big, it does help when you want to drain some water and this cooler still has a bunch of heavy items in it.
-Grab handles on the side are not deep enough like others have said. If the cooler is packed full, it may pose a challenge to carry this far distances. It also makes it difficult for more than one person to carry the cooler at one time.
-The lid CAN be difficult to open, but not impossible. I admit I had a few hiccups at first but I got use to opening the lid. Again, like the grab handles, recessed areas are not deep enough.
CONCLUSION: In the end, I am happy with this purchase. Nothing is perfect but what this cooler had to offer outweighed the cons in my opinion. I also added the Coleman LED cooler light to the inside of this (Secured in place with screws no problem) and this cooler just got 'cooler'.

Rated 4 out of 5 by coolerman Coleman Extreme 50 quart
+love the ability to drag the cooler along on wheels
+nice volume, carries most of what we need for a weekend
+stays cool, top fits snuggly so doesn't pop open or need something on it to stay closed
+nice looking, nice color
-top is on a hinge and no way to keep it open when loading, unloading or drying it out. Had to add a string/ribbon thing to hold it open.
-handle easily collapses. sometimes will clip your heels when the handle collapses and the cooler falls flat
-doesn't pick itself up and put itself in the car!

I love my cooler. I wanted to get a cooler with big wheels that can go off road, and with a long handle so I don't have to walk slouching sideways and this one has both. I do have to hit the handle hard to push it down all they way, but that is my only complaint. It's strong enough for a seat, by the end of the night I usually still have ice in it. The drain spout is in a good location. I'm satisfied.
