Rated 5 out of 5 by Redturkey05 Effective survival tool; works great Bought it for my son's survival gear for the Boy Scouts (Super Organization BTW). Works quickly and is very compact. July 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by drewski bang for your buck Essentially, this piece of equipment is weightless, making it very easy to carry. A bow or hacksaw can be easily made from it and is highly recommended. one won't be chopping down any redwoods with this piece of equipment, however it is sutable for building a shelter and other random outdoor task. Just to prove it could be done, we built an animal snare with it. great product, just keep it securely packed so it doesn't puncture or scratch anything you wouldn't want damaged. March 15, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by jack2341 Not Satisfactory For My Job I used it to cut limbs high up on a tree trunk. By attaching ropes to each end of the saw, I tried to cut the small limbs from the ground. The saw kept getting hung in the limbs and finally the attachment ring pulled away from the saw. Perhaps this saw would be fine in a standard on the ground operation, but I would not recommend it for remote applications. March 10, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mac123 Broke very easily The saw broke in half after I used it to attempt to cut through a dead branch. August 6, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by bg got what I paid for Product broke under moderately heavy use (attempted to cut thru 3 inch diameter limb). I still consider it worthy of keeping on hand for certain applications and will likely replace it for lighter duty applications. June 12, 2013
