Rated 2 out of 5 by Patty Good idea, execution not so much.
The idea of having an inexpensive calorie counter / pedometer available is very appealing. However, this one isn't it. It is difficult to fasten the counter to one's belt, and once affixed, it won't stay put. Pulling loose if one makes the wrong move. The method resetting the devise is simple, but one must be careful to hold down the reset button for a certain amount of time. Although, if bumped accidentally, it will easily erase all info, leaving a sweaty, tired exerciser with only 400 steps taken. Disheartening.

Due to a cheap clip on design, mine came off my belt and lost it after a week.

I'm disappointed in this product, unless you are planning on just straight running its worthless. I bought it to keep track of how many calories I am burning throughout the day or my at home exercise routine. I even wore it to the gym and on the treadmill which monitors my heart rate and tracks how many calories I've burned this pedometer counted only 15 calories when the treadmill counted 254 calories burned. It's undependable and not worth the hassle. And will reset itself randomly so you will never have an accurate count. And there is no way to turn it off so a waste of batteries. Pointless piece if plastic.

Could never get it set. I tried to find the model of new balance I bought but Dick's didn't even have it listed. Model3axis. A piece of junk that is totally confusing to set. Says it is a running pedometer but in the instructions it says you should refrain from running because it will reset. Took it back the next day.
