Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 37 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best hunting boots I've ever had I bought these last week and already wore them into the field twice - once for a goose hunt yesterday and into the field today. My biggest complaint with hunting cold weather was my feet getting cold. I tried rubber snow boots, multiple thick socks and foot warmers. None of that seemed to work. What I figured out is that you need a great pair of heavy insulated boots to start with and you'd be able to have warm feet without three pairs of socks and foot warmers. My feet are warm and dry (and not sweaty!) with just one pair of medium socks. And my feet don't hurt at all after breaking them in with full day of hiking and crouching. Unlike most other 800g boots these aren't too bulky. They're much like a pair of comfortable work boots. To top it off, I cleaned my birds and was able to spray off the boots to make them just like new. I couldn't be happier with pair. In fact, I'm considering buying a second pair for when these wear down in a few years. Obviously, if you're spending hours on the tundra going up to 1000g is a better choice. But for living in NJ, the weather doesn't get below the teens so these boots are perfect. Regarding size, these are pretty true to shoe sizes. I wear a 10.5-11 shoe. Wolverine boots fit me best in a 10! These fit perfect in 11. November 24, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Manufacturing When the boot was manufactured all the material inside of the boot was all gathered together near the ankle. When you pulled the laces tight it pulled the gathered material right into the ankle which made it very uncomfortable to walk. You could feel the material rub up against your ankle every time you took a step. I'm not sure if this is manufactured this way or if it was just poor quality control but I did return the boots. Rated 5 out of 5 by Can't wait to test it out! It may sound peculiar to give a product a 5 star rating even though I haven't tested in Winter time yet. However, judging by the fitment and comfort I can tell this boot was made for me! I had previously owned a pair of Columbia "Ice Field Winter Boots." They were more expensive (bought them around 2002 -2004 for well over $100.00) They performed well for at least 2 years. Last year in the Winter of 2013 -14 they finally fell apart. It turns out their construction was not so sturdy and they basically disintegrated while I was out in the field. It turns out the uppers were not stitched to the lower half of the boot. Needless to say I was disappointed. I am looking forward to putting these Trophy Hunters to the test. And yes,I would recommend these boots! i hope this review was somewhat helpful! BTW,the shipping was faster than I had anticipated- UPS brought them to my house within 2 days after ordering online! May 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Built tough for ice and snow I was looking for boots to wear while using the snow blower and walking through mud, water, and while doing some light hiking. After searching for two months, I found these at Dick's The boots have held their waterproofing through three blizzards and subsequent thawing temperatures. They grip well on the ice formed over asphalt and cement. Furthermore, they were warm in 0 degree Fahrenheit. I have wide feet and normally wear a 12-13 (depending on the manufacturer), yet still needed two pairs of calf-length hiking socks. So far, they have been comfortable after wearing them for eight hours per day. My only gripe is that they are heavy boots, which I fully expect with this sort of boot. February 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by buy it Bought the boot to keep my feet dry during the winter. As a plumber my feet are often in or around water, the boots have kept my feet warm and dry. They were a little tight out of the box, but that was because of the 800g of Thinsulate. I wore them around the house the day I got them and by the next morning they were sufficiently broken in to wear all day in comfort. This will be my winter boot for as long as I can get it. I use the Field and Stream Classic Sport Boot for the summer and am as equally pleased with that boot. February 19, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best winter boots I've owned! Extremely warm and comfortable boot! I've bought 4 pair of these over the last 6 or 7 years. (I'm extremely rough on boots, 12-14 hours a day 6 days a week) the best waterproof boots I've owned. Even standing in water for extended periods of time my feet have always stayed dry. The only drawback is their weight, but its expected with that much insulation. November 11, 2014
