Rated 4 out of 5 by Dottie Wear alone for wind and light snow, but not waterproof!
I haven't worn these under a heavy-duty glove yet, but I have worn them out and about given the extreme cold and snow in Michigan this winter. They do a good job keeping my hands shielded from cold winds and light snow, but are no substitute for an ice scraper... if you get them wet, they are wet. They work great on a touchscreen and I'd absolutely recommend them for light-duty use. It remains to be seen if they are great under my board mittens. Also, the fit is good, but could be better. I find the medium a little (maybe 1/2 cm) too short but the large a little too roomy for my hands... but I have long fingers and slim wrists, so what's a girl to do?

Rated 5 out of 5 by kjgoldman These gloves are great
I had been looking for gloves to replace my very old thinsolate ones that blew out. I cannot say enough about these, I wear them alone and they are very warm and I have no trouble driving in them. I am still getting used to the touch N go on my phone but I don't use my phone while out so it isn't a problem for me. My fingers and hands are always warm and they fit snug enough that I would have no problem wearing them under other gloves.

These gloves are great. They are very warm and the touch tip works great. The colors are great I get a lot of comments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ksf good gloves for college marching band practice
My daughter needed some "grippy" waterproof gloves for late season marching band practice (read: in the snow and freezing rain). These gloves fit the bill; thin enough to play her horn, warm and waterproof, and rubber dots to help with a good grip on her euphonium.
