Daiwa Salt Pro Minnows
The Daiwa® Salt Pro Minnow is a 6" long casting bait designed for saltwater use. The minnow has an erratic and lifelike side-to-side swim action, realistic scale pattern and 3D eyes that make the Salt Pro mimic the actions of a baitfish being pursued in the water. Built for a fast, ripping style retrieve, the Salt Pro Minnow has heavy-duty saltwater hooks and a weight transfer system that makes longer casts easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BaDaBing Daiwa SP Minnow I fish rock piles and jettys for stripers in the spring and fall. These lures work best in some moving water and retrieved slow. Best colors are Blurple, Bone and Chicken Scratch. You may also want to change out the split rings and trebles. I go with heavier split rings and VMC 4X 2/0 hooks. This plug is the ticket if you want to catch stripers in the surf and jettys! October 1, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by jonny175 this product was recommended to me Used in Long Island Sound, surf casting & trolling. It outfished my other lures. I caught unlimited amount of blues but sadly zero stripers. August 25, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Dero213 Good product for salt and fresh waters If fishing for heavier fish(striped bass, pike, musky, bluefish) your going to want to replace the hooks and split rings. There not of better quality and I have broken a few split rings. Other then that they are great, they cast a mile and have good action both slow retrieve or faster. July 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Buckyd23 Fish catching machine The SP minnow is as good a lure as there is on the market. For a light lure ,by surfcasting standards, this lure casts very well in most conditions.Great action in water retrieved in a basic return or add twitch ....works slowly for best results. Outfishes most lures so ,for the price, this is a bargain! July 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by AzOnes Great lure at a great price. This lure is the first lure out of my bag on every trip. The hooks may not hold up to bigger fish so a upgrade may be needed. Overall great plug for when other swimmers arent reaching your target. And cheap enough to have extras on hand. June 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by FishWhisperer this product has great features Great. Works excellent just need stronger hooks they seem to bend when you catch large stripers June 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by BassBuster56 Casts and swims better than any other plug I own Great plug Caught a 40 pound striper on this lure last Saturday in OC NJ Only drawback - middle treble hook opened up, but didn't come lose Tail hook was fine June 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by CrabHawk Probably the best lure around The SP Minnow is probably the best lure around, My buddies and I have caught 100s of striped bass (Usually Chartreuse Rainbow color) In Pacifica, Ca. as well as the Bay and Delta area of California (But if you go to those areas Bay/Delta I would suggest the DS Minnow - It's a bit smaller and Lighter in Weight) We have even caught Lingcod with the Green Mackerel color and $10. is the right price point. Don't hesitate to pick up one of these. Also They come in 16 colors AND a sinking or floating style as well as a "Bullet" style, The best one is the SP Floating. April 4, 2015
