Mountain House Breakfast Skillet 3.7 5 9 9
Way better than I expected This breakfast was filling for 2 of us.. We even had a little left over, and was really good. This is the 3rd one I have bought and will be my go to breakfast for my overnight kayaking trips! September 30, 2014
Ok - would have to be really hungry to eat again Might be better without the potatoes. Wrapped on corn tortillas per suggestion. July 23, 2014
Freeze Dried Food, what do you expect? The one and only freeze dried meal I'll even consider because it tastes pretty good an is super filling. Alas, as with all freeze dried options, way to much salt. You will get acid reflux and serious heartburn the next day. If you're camping most people consider these because of weight, I don't care how much weight you save you're going to feel 10 times worse thanks to overdosing on sodium. I understand this is part of the desiccating process and they do have "low" sodium options but it's not enough. Basically, any weight you save with these you will exceed with the antacids you need to bring. I bing this one when I'm camping and save it until the end so I don't die from acid reflux on the trail. Meals Great idea. Bad execution. Out of five of tees meals I bought this was the worst one. July 9, 2014
Tastee start to the day Good flavor and texture. Very filling. Good start for a day of paddling. May 14, 2014
Kids loved it! Ouyt scouts ask for this at least once on every campimg trip! May 7, 2014
Tasty and plentiful icommenting used this to make breakfast burritos for my teen daughters during our fall 2013 trip to red river gorge in Kentucky. It satisfied all of us and a couple camping next to us. Added welsh sharp cheddar and a few slices of bacon and it was better than any restaurant we could have found. It fueled our day of climbing!!! Decent For dehydrated eggs, not bad. If your hungry buy one for each of you August 15, 2013
Expensive, But Satisfying I have found this Mountainhouse meal, along with most of the others to be very delicious and satisfying. There is more than enough portions for one, or two people to fill up on. I like the fact that Mountainhouse includes a high amount of protein in their meals. I especially like to eat this meal with a little Tabasco sauce rolled up in a tortilla. July 16, 2013
