The unit is very light weight. One of the neighborhood kids was doing pull ups and turned the unit over. It does not balance well. The pull up bar attaches loosely and rattles constantly during use. Due to positioning of the push up bars in close proximity to body of tower, I am unable to perform push ups without hitting my head on the first cross bar. I think we are going to return this unit.

I was on the fence about this product before I bought it, but there were only a couple reviews. Even though one was bad, I figured, for the price, it was worth giving it a shot.

Well, you get what you pay for.

My unit came a little damaged, but I managed to fix part of the frame by bending it so I could finish putting it together.

Once together, the tower actually looks pretty good. The only thing I notice is if you try and move it anyther the end caps on the bottom come off.

The biggest issue with this unit is when you try and use it. The pull up bar works ok, although if your hands are sweaty, it may be hard to grip the slick padding they put on the pull up rod.

The push up handles are fine, but there are much easier ways to do push ups this way without taking up a big section of a room.

The biggest issue is the dip station. Basically, the unit is not designed to support weight on those handles. As soon as you start using the dip station, the tower starts to tip over. I tried putting heavy dumbells on the other side to keep it down, but that wasnt very helpful.

So bottom line, if a door frame pull up bar doesnt work for you, this may work as an alternative for that, but if you are looking for the entire functionality of a power tower - keep looking...

some products are inexpensive, but some are cheap. This product is cheap. It costs far less then comparable models but is not very rugged or sturdy. Plus my box arrive missing all of the hardware, which I spent 1.5 hours at the hardware store to purchase myself. I suggest that this vendor remove this product from their inventory to preserve their reputation as a provider of high-quality merchandise.

It is durable for the money. Keep in mind it is not industrial strength. Nor is it contructed out of steel girders. That is why it is cheap. I got the best results from this machine then bought a gym membership and sold the orginal. This is my replacement. The best thing about this particualr power tower compared to the others is the width of the dip bars. They are just beyond shoulder width for most people. I am 6'2" 200lbs and it is perfect for me. The other power towers I tried had dip bars that were too far apart. This can cause shoulder injury. Closer dip bars are easier as well. for me anyway. This is a perfect piece of equipment for the crossfit type workouts done in the home or garage gyms unless you can build your own. Can also be easily disassembled and shipped to a foreign location. Then easily re-assembled and told you have to move it somewhere else. Once assembled one person can tote it across a yard if needed.

Overall this is a shoddy product. If you are over 170lbs, the metal tends to bend on this, especially when you are doing dips. Look for a better quality power tower then this one.
