SOLE E95 Elliptical 4.7 5 20 20
Solid Purchase Bought the Sole E95 to replace a Vision Fitness X6200 that was past its prime. I do like the incline feature, which the Vision Fitness X6200 did not have. The operation is smooth. Somewhat disappointed in the stability as it does have a slight lateral bounce when used. The user weight limit is 350 pounds. I am 250 pounds so I expected a little more of a solid feel. Also, the track the wheels run on need to be lubricated about every third use or it makes a noticeable squeak when operated. Assembly took longer then the one and half hours the guidelines set forth but customer support (on the phone) was helpful. Sole's online assembly video does not match up exactly with instructions in the manual so that can be slightly confusing. Overall, I feel it was good value for the money spent. January 22, 2015
This product exceeds my expectations! Very easy to use, wonderful way to get your excercise! January 22, 2015
Great piece of equipment The E95 Elliptical is very easy to use. The screen is logically set up and there are several different programmed workouts to choose from. Assembly is tricky as the directions could use a little work. The diagrams, in particular, are difficult to interpret. I had to find a video online of the assembly process for the E35 to get through it. I found the delivery process to be inconvenient. They wanted to deliver on a weekday between 11:30 and 3:30 which is impossible for those of us who work. I ended up picking up the unit myself. January 22, 2015
Excellent Machine - Commercial quality I wanted to purchase an Elliptical but didn't want a rickety one. I had clear preferences about how I liked the machine to work (not like a stair stepper). This machine fit the bill. The Model below this (E35) was vastly different in movement and feel, and while I didn't want to spend $400 more, this E95 couldn't be beat. The only "con" this machine has is the fan. It is basically worthless. Definitely pay for the setup as our technician finished the job in under an hour. It was well worth the money. December 21, 2014
Frustrated and disappointed I purchased the Sole E95 from Dick's 7 weeks ago. It was delivered 5 weeks ago. Assembly was fairly straightforward, the instructions were pretty clear. After assembly was complete I plugged it in and tested it. Immediately I received an error message indicating a Motor error. I called Sole technical support, they believed that I could have possibly pinched the data cable during installation causing this to occur. They shipped a new cable to me and contacted their contracted repair folks to set up an appointment. It took about a week to receive this part and then another week for the contractor to fit me into their schedule. The contractor determined that the problem was not the cable, it was a faulty motor and console. He contacted Sole to report the problem. After another weeks' time a new motor and console arrived, then another week to get an appointment with the repair contractor. This corrected that initial problem, however a new problem surfaced with the axle collar during his testing. Apparently a missing screw on the axle collar caused a "thunking" to occur when using the elliptical. The contractor, again, called Sole who shipped the part. This was 7 days ago, I have not received the part as yet. Sole says it was shipped and should be delivered, perhaps, today. Again, I will have to wait for the repair technician to fit me in once I receive the part. So far my experience has been very frustrating. It is clear that quality control of this product is lacking. I would have hoped that shipment of parts would have, at least, been done expeditiously. I still have not used the product due to all these issues. I'm not optimistic that it will operate properly even after this repair. December 19, 2014
Great! Smooth operation, diversity of programing, and adapts to even my poor level of physical condition. I have seen marked improvement in my stamina. December 4, 2014
It is a smooth ride. I enjoy working out with the equipment and it is an easy stride. August 16, 2014
Solidly Built I alternated between the E95 and a Reebok machine that had "ifit" compatibility. In my case I have a large TV in front of my exercise machines and prefer to watch a large screen TV over any screen on the machines, so I went for the heavier and more solidly built Sole machine. I've put together a lot of stuff over the years. This elliptical will take you approximately three hours to fully assemble. The directions are really good. There are four steps in putting it together and the tools are supplied. The nuts and bolts are packaged in four individual sections on a sealed package. It is easy to assemble this machine, but it does take time. I wish some of the illustrations were a bit larger. I think that assembling this would appear daunting to someone who is not handy, but if you are unsure, there are online videos clearing showing you how to assemble it. I would recommend doing it yourself because then you'll know it was done right and you will know better how to fix any problems the elliptical might develope over time. Most complaints I assume would be for unwanted noises. When first assembled the machine it was very quiet, but after a few days I noticed that it had developed a small squeak in the right foot pedal. That part comes preassembled and so I called the company to see what they suggested. I got right in to technical support--no wait time. They suggested checking for any loose nuts. I tighten some bolts and it has been super quiet ever since. The 34 lb. flywheel is the largest one I found on any machine. It really makes this elliptical very smooth. This is a heavy product. The machine and the box it comes in weighs 355 lbs. I think the assembled machine weighs around 250 lbs. Overall, I am very pleased with the E95. It looks like it will last for many years. Good Elliptical, pricey, quiet, smooth motion Our previous machine was a bit noisy, so that was one of my primary objectives. This one is very quiet, although it has developed a little noise almost immediately. It has a smooth motion and the controls are easy to use. It was assembled for me, so I can't speak to its ease, but it took the guy about 80 minutes to do it. I am satisfied, but will be calling service about that small noise. May 8, 2014
It feels solid It dose not feel like other machines that bolt up in pice by pice . I feels solid as if you are lifting weights but smooth May 7, 2014
