Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Buy!! Best purchase we've made in a long time. smooth sailing with ordering, delivering, and MUCH easier than anticipated to put together November 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing This product is great. I have had it for 3 years now and it works perfectly. I bought this to lose some baby weight after I had my baby girl, and it never woke her up! I lost about 30 pounds in a month! Extremely worth the purchase. Great price too! November 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for home walking Purchased this treadmill about 1 month ago and it was/is an outstanding purchase. The team support at our local Dick's Sporting good was fantastic, they provided good information about best ways to use the treadmill, and even helped load it up into our van. Once I got it home it took my son and I about 1.5 hours to unbox and set up, and it's been running like clock work ever since! Both my wife and I use the Sole F60 every day, I put in about 4.5 miles while my wife is putting on about 5 miles per day. We average about 3.5 miles per hour, and we use the preset workouts that come with the F60. The F60 is small enough that we were able to put it into an empty bedroom, yet it feels very sturdy and I have no fear of it coming apart mid-workout. Long story short, if you are looking for a good treadmill to start working out on, or restart working out on, the Sole F60 is the perfect fit! June 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my treadmill!! Arrived in perfect condition!! This alone was a great first impression because reading a ton of reviews online from various vendors, shipment of treadmill often resulted in damaged goods upon arrival. Easy assembly other than poor instruction of needing to pull the wiring up through the handrail while attaching to keep slack out of the final connection point to the treadmill (don't want to put the wiring in a pinched or crammed situation) There is a pull wire to assist in keeping the slack out while attaching the right handrail. Once realized this it was a snap! The lubrication of the platform was required right away even though directions state is was ready to go from manufacture. The platform was dry under the belt and could hear dry rub. Lube is included to get you started. Squeezing it under the belt into area directed was hard. I am going to purchase silicone lubricant from Amazon that has a long applicator tip to reach underneath the belt without stretching it. Adjustment of the belt was a simple turn of included wrench as instructed to align the belt into the center position once the lubricant was distributed evenly. I have never owned a treadmill. This one is just like the ones I enjoyed using at the gym!! It has good display and adjustment of incline and speed while using is extremely easy! Built in workouts are also enjoyable! The built in fan has one speed, but it works. The speakers sound good playing my IPhone music. Only feature that I want now is a holder to sit my IPhone where I can watch a show off Netflix or something while working out. I run on it and the platform feels good to me. It's plenty long and wide for me to get a good stride on (5'6"). My teenage daughters are also using it. I am extremely satisfied with this treadmill and am using it daily. I haven't had to use the fold-up space saving feature, but am glad it's there. It has exceeded my expectations so far! I have had it only a month. Purchased it on Black Friday and took advantage of the big sale and free shipping!! If it disappoints I will write a follow-up review. January 6, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Jury is still out....Part Two (Update) It's now just over four weeks of use and today (5/22/14), I had to write Sole inquiring about service and/or warranty information. Today's issue was that the motor seemed to be straining to turn the belt, then increasing, slowing. And then the smell of the motor overheating. I proceeded to stop, turned it off and unplugged it. Awaiting a reply. Updates to follow. For the first four weeks, have enjoyed it, but just takes one issue to ruin the experience of owing it. May 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Product met expectations Am pleased with the Sole F60 treadmill. It was relatively easy to assemble and. No complaints at this point December 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by So far, so amazing! As far as long lasting durability, the jury is still out as we bought this yesterday, but as of right now, I am officially in love! I was worried about what to buy, I mean $800 isn't a cheap buy, so I was apprehensive and asked a thousand questions. We picked it up last night and this morning the hubby went to work assembling it (which contrary to other reviews, only took him about 45 minutes and that included a trip to his work to pickup better tools). It was quick and easy and is very sturdy. The only problem we had so far is that when I started it up to test it out, it trips the GFI in our home gym that is a room that at one point in time used to be a garage, so the GFIs are still in there. I ended up having to run an extension cord to the next room which isn't a big deal in our house but some homes it may be. Took my first run on it today and it was so smooth, I'm in heaven. I have problems running on asphalt because of shin splints and heel spurs and this was much smoother. The base gives and my feet were thanking me! I will update in a few months, but for now I love it! September 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Treadmill Did a lot of research and this is a great value for your money. Had a Proform treadmill for only a month when the motor went out, returned it for the Sole F60.Not even in the same league.Love this treadmill and most of all super quiet! May 28, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Cosmetic defects - but sturdy and good value in the end The parts that are not cosmetic are sturdy and function well, but....... I bought the product a few weeks ago. The assembly was easy. Little did I know, though, that when taking the top of the box off, what turned out to be a plastic end-cap sitting on top of the tread belt would be a bad omen. As it turned out, only the broken-off top of the left end-cap was on the belt, the rest of the cap being screwed into the rear of the machine?s frame. The next discovery..... The plastic top motor compartment cover was not supposed to be loose, but was only loose because it, along with the plastic bottom cover underneath the motor were cracked, and brackets for screws to hold the top cover in place were twisted out of alignment. The screws that were supposed to have been tightened to hold the top cover never were, because the brackets receiving them were out of alignment, and some of the plastic cover was broken off. I could understand that a machine might get damaged in transit because of rough handling, but the only explanation for the situation with the top and bottom plastic pieces covering the motor compartment was that the parts were knowingly packed in a defective condition. And yet another discovery...... There was a little hole in the right side of the plastic console, which, on closer inspection, revealed that the plastic console was cracked on both the left and right side, at the spot where a plastic stud protrudes on the underside to hold the screw that affixes the plastic to the metal console frame. Customer service was great. I called to report the problems and emailed photos of the damaged parts. The representatives said they would ship replacement parts right away. They also asked if I would like to have a technician make the repairs, but I declined because replacing the parts seemed easy enough, and I did not want to delay in getting the job done. Because of what I would later learn, and consistent with other customer posts on this review site, as in one comment about also getting shipped a defective replacement console, only to call for yet another replacement, I get the impression that the warranty / replacement part department is used to dealing with the same issues on a frequent basis. Ahhhh, two boxes of parts arrived last night - with a left rear end-cap, top and bottom motor compartment covers, and a console. Unfortunately, on taking the bubble-wrap off the console, I discovered that it, too, was cracked, in the same spot on the right side as the original console. Why would Sole ship a broken console in replacement of another broken console? The eureka moment!!! - Both boxes of new parts were labeled ?Made In China,? and that was the label on the original plastic motor compartment cover. I am guessing that everything is put together and boxed in China, and the only time anything comes out of the box is when a customer opens it. That must be why Sole would ship product with broken parts and defective assembly. What other reason could there be? So replacement parts that are shipped from a US warehouse must be in unopened boxes from China that are just shipped out, without anyone in the US knowing whether the parts in the boxes are also broken - perhaps the same as the boxes of new treadmills that get shipped to Dick?s. When I called customer support because of the broken replacement console, I was first told that it must not have been packed well and was damaged in transit. But the console was very well packed, with so much bubble wrap it couldn?t have been damaged in transit. When I said that I didn?t think packing was the problem, but the cracks in the plastic appear to be endemic because they occur in the same location, I was then told that this is a known problem that the company is addressing with the manufacturer. Just saying...... For broken or incompletely assembled parts to knowingly be packed, only to be opened by customers that are supposed to be buying a quality product - It seems to me there is a management issue in failing to have a proper quality control process in place at the point of manufacture. I don?t know what needs to be done to ensure quality control with the manufacturer in China. I assume, however, that good management would have suitable quality controls in place so that there is a slim to none defect rate in shipped product. I would also think that good management would have noticed the quality control issue on product being shipped from China and have done something to address it , so, among other things, the company can have a stellar reputation and customer reviews on sites like this are all four and five stars and not the too frequent posts about defective product. Apple might be an example of quality control on product manufactured in China. Its products are manufactured there too, and it appears to have controls in place to ensure that its product and the packaging arriving in the customer?s hands with the highest quality and a slim to none defect rate. Lastly, I must also say that once I get a defect-free console, I will have a quality, sturdy treadmill that, aside from my time in replacing the broken cosmetic parts, will be a very good value. I am also probably lucky to be handy in being able to replace defective parts myself and not needing to deal with appointments with technicians. January 30, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Jury is still out.... Currently in the fourth week of owning/using the SOLE F60 Treadmill. Seems that after three weeks of using everyday for up to 30-40 minutes at a time, the unit has begun making noises on inclines between 2-4 and just a day ago, the motor seems to making a clicking noise. It's less noticeable once you get going, but definitely there. Still think for the price it's a good value, but remains to be seen if issues arise. I do enjoy creating my own programs, although it doesn't allow me to save them. For the price, guess you get what you pay for. May 7, 2014
