Rated 5 out of 5áby Fantastic treadmill. What we like best about this treadmill is how quiet it is. The other features such as the seperate programs, ease to change speed and incline and longer track rate high also. We just love it. November 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Purchased with our tax return March 2007 I never do reviews but the purchase we made in March 2007 on our Sole F80 treadmill at Dicks Sporting Goods, Newark (Christiana Mall), Delaware has exceeded our expectations far beyond incredible. First of all my wife is a marathon runner in both half and full categories. She has clocked great times in full and half marathons. I'm a military professional (Army now Air Force) so being fit is vital to my successful career in the military. My wife trains more outside than I but when she runs indoors on the Sole F80 treadmill she exceeds 15 - 20 miles. I train outdoor as well but most of the time indoors on our Sole F80 treadmill. Weekly I put in more than 20 miles on our treadmill. Our treadmill continues to work like a champ, no maintenance issues what so ever. We have never serviced it or call for repairs or had any parts replaced or repaired but continue to beat it down. If you are not sure about your purchase, I will tell you based on the experience and miles we have accrued on the Sole F80, speaks for itself. You will not be disappointed. Good luck with your decision and purchase. September 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby This is a very solid unit I am a large man and this unit is rated for me and has performed great all the different programs plus manual settings make it a breeze to use it is also nice to check your heart rate while working out! November 21, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5áby Not a good start After doing considerable research I decided to purchase the SOLE F80 treadmill primarily because most reviews were very positive and the comparison to other treadmills seems to be a good value with respect to features versus cost. Unfortunately, upon delivery (2 weeks after purchase) my treadmill does not function. According to the delivery and setup people, there is a problem with the electronics which will require replacement of the motor board. So now I sit and wait to find out when that component will be delivered and installed. I am still hopeful that this treadmill will turn out to be a good purchase. But as the headline says, at the moment, it is not a good start. February 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Excellent Treadmill Easy to setup, quiet, strong, good features and programs. Well made. A very nice machine. All features work as advertised. Wide and long running surface. November 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Super Happy I would like to start by saying I searched all over for the right treadmill. The reviews had helped and I finally chose this one. I will agree with some of the reviews, this machine is heavy! I picked it up myself at Dicks and they loaded it into my Nissan Pathfinder. Overall box fit with just a little hang out the back. Once home I was able to slide the box out by myself and on to the garage floor. There I opened the box and started to take things in to the house from the box and in to the basement where it was going to stay. The base took two of us .. and we actually set it on its side and slid it down the stairs .. carpeted stairs highly recommended. Installation was very easy and took only about an hour. I did put the treadmill together solo however a second person would have been ok to attach the top computer part to the base. But can be done with one person .. just take your time not to pinch the wires doing one side at a time. All the controls work, runs very quiet. I also purchased the 2 year extra plan. That is two years past the original warranty. After paying $1500 for a machine $155 did not seem to be unfair. When most likely the labor is what cost so much to fix any problem anyway. Used it several times and very very happy. November 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Sole F-80 Treadmill so far has exceeded my expectations I travel some for my job and many of the hotels I stay at have Sole machines in their fitness centers so when I needed a new machine I looked at the sole machines. As someone that uses my treadmill every day I can say that there is a lot to like about the Sole F-80 model. It is very quiet and solid. The last two treadmills I had were used and they never held up so the warranty that Sole has on it's machine's was an important selling point to me. I am a big guy 225 lbs and I run on the tread mill and I really like the extra width and solid feeling of the running deck. I was really impressed with the delivery and setup process that Dick's Sporting Goods uses too. I was contacted within 30 minutes of purchase to set up an appointment for delivery. Then they contacted me two other times to make sure that the appointment still worked for me and on the day of delivery they sent a guy that had the machine moved into my basement and set up in less than 2 hours. I would recommend that you look at Sole treadmills if you are in the market. I would also recommend Dick's . They had the same price as I could buy it on line plus they had free delivery and set up. Rated 5 out of 5áby Great unit Ok the bad first...the speakers aren't that high on quality and the fan is absolutely useless....and it's flipping heavy. Now the good...it's flipping heavy, meaning it's a sturdy treadmill. Great function and display. Assembly is a breeze and takes about 30 minutes or less. That's pretty good when other users of other treadmills are talking hours to set theirs up. It's fairly quiet and offers no lag when switching speeds or incline. Lastly, price was a little more than I wanted to spend, however, for lifetime warranty on deck, frame AND motor...well worth. All in all, probably the best treadmill out there with the most bang for the buck. Happy running. October 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Basic, sturdy, folding treadmill I've owned the treadmill for about a month now. I had it delivered to my house, but assembled it with my sons help. Assembly is pretty easy for two people if you read the instructions carefully and watch the online video's. My son was a little to eager to get it together, so we did have to take the middle support off so we could slide the pieces that go above middle support up to use them. When assembling you do need to be very careful to not damage the wiring. Double check that you won't pinch the wires when putting pieces together. Also need to be extremely careful when attaching the covers in the various places. I read, and have to agree that these parts would be easy to break when tightening the screws. Now for the operation of the treadmill. I needed something sturdy enough to handle 275 lbs pounding on it. This fits the bill. I have no squeaks. I am not using any of the supplied programs. I just wanted to adjust on my own for now. This treadmill is very quiet compared to my past two treadmills. You hear the hum of the motor, and the movement of the belt across the deck. But it really is quiet. My footsteps on this machine are what you hear. The fan is a little noisy, but not too bad. It moves enough air to help cool me down. If I need more air movement, I'll have to use an additional fan. I love the feel of the treadmill. It is sturdy. Cheaper models make me feel as though any step could bust the deck. The belt is longer and wider than any I've owned. Plenty of room to move left or right while walking or running. (which I seem to do when taking a drink.) And this machine is much quieter than any of the cheaper models I looked at and the previous two I've owned. I gave it four stars because there are a couple of things that I consider minor issues. They are: 1. Height of the arms and display on the treadmill. The higher the incline, the worse it gets. I'm only 6' tall, but still find myself bending over to alter the incline or speed. 2. Another minor thing for me is getting used to how short the arms are. I have been accustomed to longer side rails. (good that the belt is wider than my previous models so I don't step off the sides of the belt) Overall I recommend this as a sturdy basic folding treadmill. January 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Wont be disappointed My wife and I were looking to buy a treadmill and came across this gem and I must say I love it. I love the multiple programs that it has, the built in fan and user1 and 2 can save your workouts. November 29, 2013
