It is sad that people are suckered in by specs and buy such a low quality and terrible product. For example, it has a 4 CHP motor? First off, how many soles do you see in commercial gyms? I'll save you the time researching, none! The motor is 4.0, but the amp draw is so intense on there because the rpm's are around 6500! With the rpm's being so high I wouldn't recommend running on here unless you don't care about frying out your internal components and spending a couple hundred dollars on a new lower electronics board plus labor! Plus, they don't cover you on wear items, like precor does, so if you think that something goes wrong internally you are covered with a five year warranty, think again! You're paying out of pocket on wear items if something goes wrong an hour after you buy this treadmill. Plus, they don't even offer a no maintenance belt and deck system, so have fun lubricating your deck with silicone every 300-400 miles (on average#. How many people are religious with doing this? Not many and now you have excess friction between your belt and deck that'll over-heat your internal components. My professional advice, buy a precor for a couple hundred more dollars. You get a 7 year warranty on parts, electronics, and wear items #only manufacturer in the world with wear item coverage#. A motor that runs much more efficiently at 4100 rpm's #so you can actually run on it!). A no maintenance belt/deck system with silicone interwoven underneath the belt. We have to remember the importance of LONG-TERM investments and be conscious of the fact that you'll be paying less money on a precor after you have the product for a couple of year or even months! If you like performance and/ or are a serious runner, go with AFG or Precor. If you like the bells and whistles go with sole, but it's in your best interest to buy the extended warranty!

At 39 yrs old, this fall My husband was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and sleep apnea. The Dr said get to walking and you will be amazed what it will do for you!!!!!!! She was right !
So my husband hopped on my treadmill and literally stopped the motor, he was too big. So I was off to find a new one with a bigger motor, larger walking platform, but still versatile to fold up and move around. I live three hours from a big city, so the fact that they offered free shipping was awesome. We looked at other reviews and sizing and compared it to our old treadmill and decided that the SOLE F85 would be a good fit for him and our pocketbook. We have not been disappointed. He walks 2 miles everyday (because he says. "I'm walking for my life") I walk 1 mile everyday. In 6 weeks he lost 35 lbs and I have lost 12lbs. It is so quiet , that I fell asleep in my chair one evening and he went ahead and walked and never even woke me up and my chair is10 foot away. So thank you for making a very well built product ! We are very pleased !!! P.S. anyone want to buy a an old used treadmill, because we don't need our old one fore sure !
