Rated 5 out of 5 by JB Pelican Intruder 12 Jon Boat Great for the small car top ponds. , toss down some thin plywood and you will have a great boat. I have had mine for 14 years and this year just wore a hole through one of the corners. Fix it with some fiberglass and lasts the season. The reason it wore is because started fishing with my kids young and had to drag it a bunch. You will not be disappointed. Again this isnt for huge lakes on windy days , but perfect up in the Northeast ponds that are a couple hundred acres February 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Jonfishing Good little boat for small lakes & ponds I've had this boat for several years, great for fishing by myself but a bit unstable with other fisherman on board unless you warn each other before you lean to one side. It was a little rough on windy days or in a boat wake, but loaded it down with plywood decking to make the floor more stable and it really helped it cut through waves rather than rocking my world. I put a 4hp merc on it and a 36lb minnkota and it really is a great one-man boat. It is easy to modify, the plastic drills out easily for mounting rod holders (the advertised ones are a joke). I decked the front, made a great casting deck but contributed to the instability with a passenger. June 2, 2013
