Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Product:Must Buy Hello everyone, I only have really started to play as much as possible this year. I have the bug really bad this year and needed to get out at least once a weekday to play 9 holes and on the weekend play a full 18. After playing sparingly last year i had a hard time deciphering which clubs to use and what my distance were. From going to the range quite a bit last year i had a rough idea of what my distances were with each club. The only issue was that when I got on the course i really didn't have an exact idea and most of the time i would end up using the wrong club. Now even though most courses are market, i honestly couldnt give you a rough estimate if my life counted on it. I was constantly adding strokes to my game each time and it was discouraging. However playing with my brother who has been an avid golfer for the better part of his life had a Bushnell Range finder, and let me tell you that thing is worth every penny. Now when i played with him i would consistently shoot 5-10 strokes better because i had an idea of how far i was from the greens. Well this year I was lucky enough to get out at the end of March early April and start golfing, but i found my self constantly stuck with which club i needed to use because of the distances. Now you might just say why i didn't just use my brothers, 1) i didnt want to replace a $500 piece of technology and 2) i can be forgetful so god forbid that thing dropped out of my bag or cart, i would never hear the end of it. At the beginning of May i decided to invest in one of the watches that i had been reading about. Now the idea was to try and test all of them but i fell in love with the Bushnell Neo-X. Although you may think it is a little bulky and ( old fashion looking) it is amazing. It takes 30-45 seconds to acquire the signal and with it having over 30,000 possible locations it would also pull up the nearby course even if i was at the first course it had selected. (FYI once you purchase this thing, no need to download maps or upload information. But what i do recommend is if you are traveling or going somewhere away from your home, you can register the watch at the Bushnell Website and it will update each of the courses as needed along with upload any of the course you may be traveling do. As for as usage is concerned this thing is dead on accurate. I play at the local course in my area and one in particular as the entire course marked and each time i come up on those markers ( not just the 150 or 200) but the 118's or 121 or 191, it is right on. Now people do need to realize that if your someone who needs to know 3 yards from the pin that your better off getting a range finder, but for someone who loves to walk a course ( like me) or even take a cart, it is nice look at the watch and know where i am in terms to the green. People i have played with and even randomly pair up with who are skeptical end up loving the thing and are grateful for the distance info. In regards to the battery life, i was able to play 36 holes on 1 saturday and it lasted the entire time. We ended up playing 36 again the following day (sunday: without charging it left it at home) and it last 17 holes but died when we got to 18. It is very easy to use and navigate any Joe-shmo who has half a brain should be able to use this. Just so you are aware i have played anywhere from 50-80 times this year not all 18 but i have played 9 for almost 2 straight months every weekday after work. Like i said no need to download or Monthly/year prescriptions just charge the thing and go play. Have fun and like Chevy Chase said....BE THE BALL DANNY BE THE BALL! September 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best GPS period Got this for my birthday in January. Best present ever. I don't know how I ever played without it. No looking for yardage markers. Simply walk up to your ball and you know exactly what yardage you have left. Easy to use and the battery will make it three rounds before needing a charge. My brother in law has one by another manufacturer and barely makes it one round. Very happy and would recommend it for anyone looking to improve their golf game. September 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Watch the ball after you look at the watch I purchased the Bushnell after a friend of mine let me try his. I had a Calloway uPro MX which was beginning to be a pain to use. I had to hit the button twice to activate the uPro and then wait while the screen processed to display. No more! A quick look at my Bushnell GPS and I am ready to go. NO waiting at all. Nice feature is that it is not complicated to use, but has almost all the features of the other watch GPS's. I compared my two GPS's for 3 rounds and they never varied more than 5 yards between the two devices (Callaway and Bushnell). Most of the time it was 1-3 yards variation. For my game that is well within the expectations of what I am going to perform to. Great job and would highly recommend it. BTW the battery is good for three rounds and also for use as a watch in between. September 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by ACCURATE YARDAGE MATTERS I received this as an early Christmas present and have been using it for about 30+ days. I find it to be very accurate on my home course. It is nice to be able to hit a green and be pin high with all pin placements. Having accurate distances to a pin makes this a much more enjoyable game. The distances to hazards also comes in handy particularly on windy days when it might be a stretch to clear. This GPS can definitely save strokes especially on unfamiliar courses. I am very glad my wife got this for me and it will likely be my best present. Dick's had this as a super buy and I would recommend it to anyone serious about playing better golf and you cannot beat Dick's for quality products and exceptional service. November 13, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow, what a great rangefinder for golf This is so great! Charged the unit, scanned the directions and used it for three days in a row. Accuracy is on the money. This will replace the unit I have used for five years, but now there is no yearly subscription fee, no down loading courses(with limit of 10), and this rangfinder has battery life for more than one round. In fact it will cover multiple rounds. Also, your chance of losing is totally reduced because it is on your wrist, not floating around in the cart or in your pocket. Great gift idea for the golfer. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product! I used the watch during my last 3 rounds and found it to be accurate and very easy to use. Love the hazard distances feature! I highly recommend getting this watch if you are looking for a light-weight easy to use GPS watch. December 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just as expected Been wanting one for a while and bought this when it came on sale. Was just using a cellphone for yardages but was tired of lugging it around. This works great. Yardages are spot on. Don't have to wait for it to load the yardages. Battery lasts at least two rounds. I haven't tried it any longer than that. I was concerned it would affect my swing but I don't even notice it. Very light. It may not have all the crazy upgrades the new models do, but it will get you the front middle and back of a green and that's all you need. I didn't want to spend crazy money to sit and take up time looking at lay up distances. Pace of play is bad already. Highly recommend this to anyone. Very happy I bought it. September 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best distance tool ever! 30,000 GOLF COURSES PRE-LOADED! What a nice tool. Hardly notice it on my wrist and very simple to set at any course. Distance is spot on! October 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth it! I used the Bushnell Neo X for the first time on August 20. It arrived a mere five days after I ordered it for what I think is a reasonable price for its quality. My goal is to break 90 each time I play. During my first use, I shot 88, including a 41 on the back nine, which is where it came in especially handy. (The 47 on the front had nothing to do with the watch.) The watch gave me accurate yardage on each hole. It proved what I have long suspected: that the movable yardage markers at the course that I play are often in the wrong place. Also, the watch highlighted that the tee markers are sometimes in the wrong places, too (too far back to make the game fun and far beyond the scorecard's statements; I believe in the Tee It Forward concept). I also learned that I do not hit the ball as far as I thought I did with most of my clubs. The watch was especially useful on my approach shots into the greens on par-5s; I parred all of those holes yesterday! Moreover, the watch's readings to the front, center, and back of greens are plenty for me. One reading set me up for a valuable birdie on the closing three holes. I will wear this GPS each time I play. One more thing: The watch is easy to charge and does so quickly. You just need to have a USB drive on your computer to do so. It is also easy to operate. The manual is easy to understand. August 21, 2013
