Rated 4 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Storm Waterproof Hiking Shoe Great shoe but poor sizing and not waterproof. I normally wear an 8 and sometimes an 8.5 depending on the brand. However I have never had to order one 2 sizes big to fit. Right, I have to purchase a 10. Otherwise I really like these shoes even though they are a bit bulky but not too heavy. I walk about 5 miles a day and they have not contributed to any fatigue. The tread wears a long time and I can wear thin to thick socks and get them to fit. The uppers have not worn either. I have worn these over snow and iced-over snow and they have performed well and kept my feet warm--I have worn a very thick pair of socks and a thinner underneath and still had flexibility. However, there are not waterproof as it purports to be. Walking yesterday in a steady but not heavy rain, the shoes got thoroughly wet. July 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by most comfortable shoes ever I haven't try any hiking shoes before. But this one is really comfortable and keeps my feet warm. I wore the shoe a couple days with heavy raining, they are waterproof indeed. Size fits perfect, also. Very good shoes. February 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by good support and comfort I have plantar fasciitis. The shoe that I use is very important. I have been wearing this one for the past few months as a work boot and has done very well. It has an orthotic heel and provides good stability and comfort. Using it as a work boot I have found it to be very good in the wet grass and out door environment. Will most likely buy another pair January 31, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Shoes My feet got wet twice this week while outside. Don't want this product ever again. July 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hiking shoe Since purchasing, I have really put these shoes to the test, hiking through muddy old riverbeds, trails, and uneven rock surfaces. I have nothing but praise, they performed exactly as I hoped, kept my feet completely dry and held up to the abuse. The one downside is that they do not breathe at all - but that's what you get for having a waterproof shoe. July 22, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very Bulky Shoe! I tried these shoes out, found them to be very bulky around the bottoms of the soles. As a matter of fact, I actually bonked the soles together a time or two while walking in them. I ended up purchasing the Merrrell Blaze. Although, I guess that's not really quite a fair comparison, seeing how the Merrell's were a third more on the cost. However, I did try the Tiva waterproof hiking shoe, and the Tiva was in the same price range as the North Face. The Tiva was a much better made shoe for sure, the Tiva's just slipped on the heel a bit, seems it's made a little lower in the rear heel section. Bottom line, my opinion is you can't beat the North Face brand when it comes to hiking gear, just not too crazy about the North Face outerwear! May 20, 2014
