Customer Reviews:

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boots that grip the rocks without using studs. Used them in the river once so far and they grip the rocks very well. I bought studs to put in the pilot holes but will nor install them until or if I start slipping. I think the sticky rubber soul with ground walnut shells is the perfect combo to prevent slipping. They are light weight and drain quickly even without large drain holes. Great wading boots. December 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Lasted 10 seconds I arrived at the river excited to try my new Redington wading boots. Slipped the first one on, pulled the laces and ONE OF THE EYELETS POPPED RIGHT OFF. The rivet broke. Shoddy construction. Maybe I got a lemon. But I wouldn't recommend these boots unless you buy from a merchant with a buyer-friendly return policy. Dick's was great -- they refunded my money with no problems. April 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by All around good wading boot for the price. This is my second pair of Skagit wading boots. The first pair came apart after 3 years of wading various trout streams. I have found that the average life expectancy for wading boots for me is 2 to 3 years anyway. These boots are lightweight, very comfortable, and easy to get on and off. The sticky rubber soles do a very good job in providing traction, even on smooth rock surfaces commonly found in high gradient wild trout streams. Grip studs or cleats are really not needed with these boots. For the money, these boots are hard to beat. They are definitely a good alternative from felt soled boots. April 27, 2015
