Everlast PowerCore 2 Station Stand and Bag Kit 3.9 5 28 28
great price Nice quality product for a great price. Will be a great addition to my work out routine. March 10, 2015
Needs weight and you'll need wraps First off for setup: Use your own tools. Ratchet and padded hex wrench will put this thing up in no time. Stability: My wife is tiny, and she does not require any weight. I'm 6'3, and when i get a good strike in that thing will just about fall over. Probably will need a fair ammount of weight. Bag: Get gloves or wraps. The material is rough, and even with wraps the bit of my fingers that are exposed are being torn up. I'm sure i'll get some calluses eventually there, that or i'll have to find some better gloves that wrap a bit more of the fingers. February 9, 2015
Best Best ever bag buy ASAP and you will not regret it if I could I would give 99million stars February 5, 2015
Pretty good piece of equipment Assembly was easy enough. Only issue is the stability of the unit when hitting the heavy bag. If you have any type of power you really need to add weights to the bottom to secure it otherwise the unit moves all over the place. I have not used with additional weights yet so the jury is still out on that. The speed bag is great. January 22, 2015
OK for the money I purchased this after reading multiple reviews and knew what I was getting into. My take is the rack is solid, easy to assemble, and the heavy bag is great for the money. The downside is the components are cheap. I have upgraded the chain holding the heavy bag and the speed bag is useless. At first, I could not work the speed bag at all, but I was hitting it from the side. Then I figure out that if you stand directly in front of the speed bag and hit it in the direction of the heavy bag, you can get it going good, until it pops. After a total of one minute of hitting that bag in a good rhythm, it popped on me. No big deal since I planned on upgrading the bag and the swivel, which is a plastic piece of garbage. Note that Dicks does not carry upgradeable swivels or bags and they don't even sell the replacement bladders in their store, at least in Waterford, CT. They are willing to sell you a new bag with bladder, but the cost is ridiculous considering its garbage. I have ordered a new, upgraded speed bag and swivel from and hope the back board holds up, but I intend to replace that with something more solid in due time knowing it too will break. In short, I could have spent an extra $100 to get a higher quality set, but its a wash in the end. As always, you get what you pay for. Also, for those who say the set moves around when hitting it, you need to have adequate weight to stop that. If you don't have 45lb Olympic weights to stabilize the set, don't waste your time. At least for an adult. January 19, 2015
Quality Item After reading the other reviews and purchasing this ifound the negative reviews to be misleading. first i found quality to price very good.[Amazon wanted 50 dollars more] Second my 15 year old grandson put this togeatherwith no problem. Third when you are hitting a lever approx 7 feet long it will move if not anchored or weighted down and if on a smooth slippery serface the unit will slide. Finally service was excellant. Surprised Bought as a Christmas/birthday gift and he was so surprised and loves it. Great idea for someone that loves to watch boxing and a good way to exercise. January 2, 2015
Great Starter Set Very easy set up and good product. No major issues. One minor concern is: needed to add 100 lbs for stabilization. January 2, 2015
Good setup, sales people need to know more I really like this setup, good bag, and a speedball. But when I got it I'd never had one before, and noone said I would need over a hundred pounds of plates to weigh it down while I work out. Also have to buy apump ffor the speedball. Easy to set up though anda great price. November 26, 2014
DON?T BUY! I bought this product for my 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter and had expectations that it would be successful given the Everlast name. Even with their young size and stature when they hit the bag the station stand is extremely noisy, unstable and moves all over the place. The assembly is what you would expect on a product like this. I would probably return it but the time and effort it would take to disassemble this one and to reassemble a new one isn?t worth it. DON?T BUY! November 12, 2014
