Field & Stream Bomber Hunting Jacket 4.2 5 40 40
Great value Excellent jacket very light weight and not too noisy great for $40 and water proof ! December 12, 2014
Great jacket Got the jacket and bib on sale in Black Friday. For the price I wasn't expecting much. Wore it all day today. Kept me plenty warm. It was was in the mid teens all day. Just a little uncomfortable bunching up on the shoulder when holing the gun up. December 8, 2014
THIN AS PAPER This jacket is so thin it is see through when held up against light. May be okay for hunting in September when it's still 70 out but I was bitter cold in 40s. I don't know how so many people are saying this is warm. Absolutely not. The wind cuts right through it and does not retain heat. Very cheaply and poorly made. Cant believe field and stream would put their name on it. Only positve is that the mossy oak infinity Camo print on it looks great. At least you will look good while you freze. December 8, 2014
This product is the best for the money I used this jacket for deer gun season kept me warm and dry as it has rained almost everyday. I think it's the best deal out there December 6, 2014
Nice Hunting Jacket Being a big guy, I was concerned about the fit. I found it to be roomy, warm, and good for the VT conditions. It was a little noisy walking through the woods, but at that point, I was not trying to be quiet. Good jacket at a great price. December 3, 2014
Great for price! Use during snow storm and I stayed dry. Recommend fleece for under it when it is real cold. Zippered hood off the Velcro is loud. Overall for the price the coat is solid and I'm pleased with it. Have the bibs also and it makes for a good set for the money. Each piece keeps me warm and dry. Temps were 10-20 degrees when it was used. December 1, 2014
Love It Had this since last year. It's durable, warm and keeps me dry. It also has a detachable hood for less bulk. Hunted in -20 degree weather with this and was warm. Recommend to anyone. November 28, 2014
Warm and dry. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA and regularly hunt approximately thirty miles west of the City right on what is frequently the "snow-rain" line of the I95 corridor. I must be candid; I looked at purchasing an outer layer three times in price but Dick?s has been great over the years so I dropped the debit card on the counter and have not looked back. I have hunted in rain, freezing rain and snow for hours on end in 30 degree temperatures and they perform! Plenty of room for layering so I am confident they will be fine in the low to mid-twenty degree temperature range. Lower than that and not moving around, I am in my IWOM. Purchase the bomber, the bibs, quality base layer and face covering headgear and you?ll be good to go in sub-freezing temperatures. Happy Hunting! November 25, 2014
Warm and quiet I purchased this coat for hunting (both bow and rifle). So far I have worn it one time in the field. It is quiet and warm. No opportunity to see if it turns water as advertised. So far - very pleased with the item. The item does run a little on the big side. I wouldn't recommend buying a larger size than you would normally wear. There is room for layers. November 17, 2014
Affordable & Warm, But Way Too Noisy Bought this for cold weather hunting in a treestand, and I cannot use it. Tried with all my might to move slowly and carefully, but the velcro closures on the cuffs catch on everything; the material is noisy when moving; and the material sounds like velcro when leaning up against the tree. I have to lean forward to stay off the tree in my stand, so the material does not catch on the tree bark. However, it is warm. I have used it well in a ground blind and still hunting (although it is also noisy drawing the bow). Have used the matching bib pants for over a year and like them. The jacket runs one size too large. I am a comfortable large and got a medium that fits just right. I had a 20% off coupon and still would not buy it again. November 16, 2014
