Sole F63 I'm very happy with my new treadmill purchase. I would recommend to my friends December 7, 2014
Tips on assembling the F63 >Since I just purchased this treadmill, I am going to focus on tips to make the assembly process easier. These observations are based upon my own experience. I would have rated this product 5 stars, but the assembly manual is miserable and thus gets demoted by one star. >If your treadmill is going to be in the basement or second floor, take the components out of the box and carry them separately into the exercise room. Make sure to leave the black strap on the treadmill. >Ensure that you have a adequate amount of space around the treadmill, before you start the assembly. Also, I would suggest having a magnetic Phillips screw driver and a flash light available to make portions of the assembly easier. >There are a number of wiring connections during the assembly process. Make sure to carefully examine the connectors because there is only one way to mate them. This is where a flash light comes in handy. You should hear a click when the connections mate properly. >Step 2 in the assembly instructions says to install the lower handle bar covers. I scratched my head trying to figure out how to do this. Then I realized that each handle bar cover has two pieces. Just separate them and install the lower portion. >Steps 4 and 5. I would reverse the order. Step 4 says to connect the console wiring and step 5 says to bolt the console to the uprights. I would bolt the console to the uprights first. If the console slips when you are bolting it down, and the wiring is already installed, you risk having the wires damaged or broken. I was able to bolt the console down first, and then do the wiring, with no issues. THE BOLTS COME IN FROM UNDERNEATH THE CONSOLE. As the manual recommends, I would get a second pair of hands to assist with this portion of the installation. >Before doing step 6, attaching the upper and lower handle bar covers, I would turn on the treadmill and make sure the electronics work on the console and handle bars. If they don't, you still have access to check your wiring connections. >Step 6. Use a magnetic screw driver to put in the screws. It will make the task much easier. >Hope my suggestions help make the assembly process a little easier. December 6, 2014
Love this treadmill! Exactly what I was looking for. I have had it for 3 weeks now and am using every day. It is extremely quiet and easy to use. I would recommend this if you are looking for a good treadmill. December 4, 2014
Piece of Garbage It worked for one day and then quit...tech out to fix it, bad mother board...now I have to wait for Sole to send someone else to fix this. Never had a problem with 2 Pro Forms over last 12 years until they just wore out. Dicks has also not been great in dealing with this. Told me to call Sole. I'm happy to have spent over 1200 dollars on what is basically a stability ball holder. December 3, 2014
Awesome This product is awesome. Easy to set up. Smooth running machine! November 19, 2014
Assembly! The assembly instructions are very poorly written; allow 1-2 hours to complete. Otherwise, first run on the machine was fine. The fan is a nice feature. November 16, 2014
Seems solid but squeaky right out of the box This is our first treadmill purchase for our home, and I am not sure how I feel about it so far. When assembling the treadmill, I was very hopeful and confident that I made the right purchase as the pieces were heavy, solid and sturdy. However once I hopped on, the squeaking started right away. We've had it for one week and I've put 10 miles on it, but the squeaking continues. I am thinking I'll need to contact customer service, and I hopeful there is a simple solution. November 10, 2014
gettin' my walk on So far I am happy with this product. Delivery (free) was great; however when my husband opened the box we found two sheared off bolts - we have not identified where (if at all) they belong on this treadmill - nothing appears broken. He also said it was one of the hardest things he has put together because of poorly labeled parts, poor illustrations and poor directions. We did manage to get it together with two people in an hours time. All that aside, I am happy with the treadmill. It is quiet, sturdy, gets up to speed quickly, and speakers are great. My negative: when I slow down I have to plan ahead ...Sometimes I need to slow down quickly because of fatigue and the machine takes longer than gym machines to slow down. Fan also doesn't blow much air and isn't greatly position for a short person. Looking forward to a warm winter of walking/jogging/running. November 5, 2014
Solid So Far Solid treadmill so far. Installation was fairly simple. October 22, 2014
2 years with no problems My wife and I have used this treadmill for almost 2 years and we have no problems. Noise was an issue with other treadmills, but this is quiet and movement of the belt is smooth as the speed changes. You can control the speed and incline from the handrails or the console panel. I oil the deck under the belt occasionally and there is no slippage of the belt. A really great treadmill for the money. I gave the delivery guys 50.00 and they set it up in about an hour. It may have taken me a day so it was worth the money. September 30, 2014
