Comments about Garmin Forerunner 305 Wristop GPS Unit:

I've now had my 305 for about 6 weeks and i'm loving it. It has really changed the way i run and even in this short time it has improved my times over 5K and 10K significantly.\n\nIt takes the guesswork out of pacing, if i want to go for a Long Slow Distance i can check both my pulse and pace to see that i'm not going too hard (a big problem for me previously).\n\nIt's awesome for Intervals, no more running on a track to keep track (no pun intended) of distances.\n\nIncluded software isn't great but there are free alternatives that can do everything i want and then some.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 305 Wristop GPS Unit:

This watch is really great. I've used it to train for countless races. I've used it running and biking (duathlon training). The watch has worked in London, France, and countless places in the U.S. It's gotten me out of the woods a few times when I've been turned around and lost. Sometimes the sattlelite gets lost in thick trees and when you initially turn it on it takes awhile to locate. Even though the two draw-backs seem crucial, it happens infrequently. If you're a serious runner and like to run or ride the trails, this watch is a great training tool. The disk it comes with logs all of your runs and averages them for your records. I love it!!
