Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by rods work well but reels after 9 months are noisy and started to jump cogs at times. contacted wright mcgill about problem they didnt even answer me. I would not buy any more of these combos, dissapointed with both reels i purchased. the reels backlash terrible and are becoming very noisy when reeling. I contacted Wright Mcgill on there home web site they did not even respond. I purchased combos August of 2013. Ready to scrap both reels and purchase another brand.I have been bass fishing for 40 years so I know how a reel should perform. July 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A LOT OF BANG FOR YOUR BUCK (IMO) This is my third year fishing the Skeet Reese rods ( i own 12 and just bought 2 more)and I have had very good luck with them. I set my wife up with a combo last year and she now has 4. I have read reviews of complaints of the rod breaking but I have caught many many fish on these rods and never had any issues. I would chalk it up to a defective rod at the start. Like any other product, some always seem to get past inspectors). I think these combos are well worth the money!!!Jerry June 8, 2014
