Ok first off for the money,,,no matter what I write ,it's a steal.Ok so the set up is about 12 bolts no problem. As you have read from others the cables are a tad short, but you can drill a new hole a little lower on the bracket. It looks sound and should be perfect for the bow guy who needs extra platform.I suggest if you hang this, hang it near a branch if possible on you left or right side for some added security as there are no armrest if you get a little unsafe feeling. All in all a great stand for the pennies you spent on it.One more thing get yourself a ratcheting system for the setup for xtra security.Have fun.

I bought three of these this year. For the money you can't go wrong. I plane on replacing the straps with ratcheting straps. The straps that came with it worked fine, they might shift the first time you hunt in them. I am 6' and weight 215 and found it to be very confortable. I am planning on buying a few more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tford great for the money
read all the reviews on this stand here and was really surprised. i have 4 of these and no the seat isn't huge and the top strap is of questionable quality and yes some assembly required but for $60 i really don't see how you can go wrong. i have several other lock on stands that were a lot more money and none of them have the platform size of this one. for less than $10 you can replace the strap and put an extra one on it and in my opinion have an excellent stand. final note, i very rarely sit while i am in a stand. those deer are ninjas.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bowslinger Good comfortable stand
I liked the plastic washers for quietness. Big base. Foot rest a plus. When entering stand be sure to step straight down on it. The stand has a tendency to move if you don't. Even with lower ratchet strap. Typical of single post up right stands. Planning to buy more of these to replace my older stands.
Comfortable and well worth the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MA_Bowhunter Poor quality - better stands are available
This is really a poor quality stand. You would be better off spending a few more dollars for one of the "Field and Stream" stands Dick's Sporting Goods sells. Here's what I didn't like about it:
? It takes a long time to assemble - lots of parts.
? The strap design is horrendous. The top strap is a "seat belt" type design; there is no way to get these type of straps tight enough to prevent the stand from moving while you are in it.
? Worse, the top strap is sewn into the stand - I had to cut it off with a razor blade, and then replace it with a ratchet type buckle strap - big waste.
? The bottom strap is fairly flimsy. It is a cam buckle type, which is fine for a bottom strap. My issue with it is it STINKS! It has a very strong rubberized smell. No way could you use this in the deer woods without getting busted by the deer. Had to replace that strap too because of the smell.
? The seat is tiny. I weigh 140 pounds and have a small butt. It is so small, it is not comfortable for me. I can't image what it would be like for someone that weighs more than me.
? The seat cushion is thick enough to be comfortable if it the overall seat was larger. But it too, stinks with that rubberized smell.
Other than that, the stand seems sturdy enough, at least for my weight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kmooney1031 Sturdy and simple
Took me about 15 minutes to put together. Them it folded nicely into a compact design with the ability to use the strap as a carry strap. Very quiet and easy to install on a tree. Would definitely get another when this on has outlived it's self. Only downside is no back support or holes for post purchase modifications such as blinds or bow hangers. But otherwise a great product.

Shot a buck first time I used it. Locks on tight and is dead quiet. Plenty of room to stand up and turn around if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by life_at_full_draw Great Hang-On stand...very sturdy and nice large shooting platform.
A buddy recommended this stand and I am not dissappointed at all. Some of the more expensive Hang-On stands are a little nicer but not enough to be worth the extra $$$. This stand is very solid and quiet when I am up in it. The large shooting platform is a definite plus along with the foot rest. Yes it would be nice if it were a little lighter but you put it up and leave it up for the season so you only have to deal with it twice (putting it up and taking it down). I would not recommend this stand if I were taking it out and putting it up everytime I went out hunting because it is a little heavier and it doesn't come with any shoulder straps. I plan to buy more whenever I get access to new hunting spots.

Rated 3 out of 5 by edgeonein needs better straps
The stand size is great but the tree attachment straps need improved. Does not have your normal ratchet straps. Comes with tension straps. Front tends to tip up if u stand near seat at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GreeneGerman Solid treestand for 60 bucks!
I weight about 240 lbs and this tree stand barely even flexes when I get on it. Only draw back from the stand is the two cable wires that go up to the seat area. I use pegs to climb to my tree stand and when getting off the pegs to the stand those pose as a little tripping hazard. But overall very happy with stand does not make any creeks or noise when I am shifting around to adjust for a shot on a deer its Oct. 27 and I already got 2 deers from this stand. I will be buying another once I find another spot to hunt.
