Loves these shoes, he's just absolutely fanatic about them! He does everything in them! I mean everything! He goes outside to run in them then comes back in and even plays on his computer in them! Fantastic!

Everyone has commented on how sharp/cool they look. They have been very helpful at taking pressure off my knees! Comfortable and light. I added insoles to make them even better!

Rated 3 out of 5áby IrishinDC Great shoes but not for running
I have to agree with several of the other reviwers about these shoes. They are incredibly comfy, look awesome, get you lots of nods and comments and they are pretty slick to wear with anything. I love them and I'm now using them as a casual shoe out of work. I am not, however, using them as a running shoe for all the same reasons the other reviewers gave. They are mud and dirt magnets and they get stones stuck in them. I'm average weight but on soft grass/surfaces, they do dig in like your soccer or hockey boots and attract junk between the blades way too easily. I've decided mine are too expensive for running and i'm sticking to using them for casual wear out and about, at the mall and on solid pavements and surfaces where I can control the dirt and junk i'm walking in. I figure they will actually last longer this way and will keep my shox, etc for running! Well worth the money but too good for running in my view.

áby Sicilian504 Great shoes....BUT
So, I saw these shoes in the news a while back and thought "Wow those look pretty neat!", so I decided to take the plunge and bought a pair. Let me start of by saying, I LOVE how these shoes feel on my feet and when I walk. They feel completely different than any other shoe I've worn, and in my opinion, much better than my pair of Shox which I've had for maybe a year. I get a lot of compliments almost everywhere I go about how cool and interesting my shoes look. When running, they do feel a bit different to me. The one thing I've noticed, is that when I "land", either while walking, or when running, I don't feel such a "jolt" when my foot hits the ground like I do with other shoes. They kind of make the landing more comfortable instead of being such a firm impact. Whether they really do this or if it's just in my head, I'm not sure. I guess it's all a matter of each person's mentality and physical built. I'm 6ft 2 and 235, so when I run it's obviously going to be different than someone who is 5ft 6 and maybe 175 or something. Either way, it's a great shoe just for casual walking in itself, as well as running.
NOW, the bad news. BECAUSE of how this shoe is physically built, it has a few big problems. The first problem for me, is that tons of dirt and grass tend to get stuck under the blades on the bottom. It doesn't sound so bad, and it's not really, if you're running in regular healthy, live grass. But around where I live, a lot of the grass is dying and turning that brown color. The dead grass gets trapped under the blades and ends up EVERYWHERE in my apartment and in my car. I could just try to knock my shoes on the ground as if they were boots or if they had mud or something on this.
Which brings me to the next nasty issue. I do wear these shoes as my "everyday" shoe quite often because they are so comfortable and actually do go well with a lot of stuff. I live in an apartment complex that allows pets (already you can see where this is going), and I have a Greyhound for a pet. I've made the mistake of wearing these shoes outside at night to walk my dog in the grass and have come back only to find out someone hasn't picked up after their pet. The issue is, the dog waste WILL get caught under the blades as well as smear all along the actual sides of the blades. So, waste under the shoe, and along the blades, and of course in the groves on the bottom that are colored. The same issue will happen with mud if it's been raining or something.
Also, because of how the shoes are built, your body weight isn't really distributed over one flat surface like a normal shoe, but instead the weight is transferred through the "blades". Problem is, since the weight goes to the blades, they tend to act like athletic cleats. They will dig into the mud and make the whole mess under the shoe even worse.
Last but not least is a big safety issue I was kind of shocked to find out about the shoes from personal experience. A few times I have walked outside either while, or after it had rained and had made the mistake of walking on a sewer drain. The blades CAN get caught in a drain, and if the metal is wet, the shoes WILL slip. I have never worn a shoe that is some how so dangerously slippery on a wet surface. I don't have the issue on any other shoe I own, just the Springblades. On the topic of safety, they can also be a little difficult to drive with at first because you have to kind of pay attention to where the blades are. You might think you're applying pressure on the end of your foot to press a pedal, only to find out the blades aren't lined up right. It's hard to explain, but you can't miss it when it happens.
So, even with all these issues I would still buy these shoes again, if they're still being made when it's time for a new one (durability will be tested over time to see how long the blades last, and if any fall off, which I'm paranoid about). They're very comfortable shoes and great to wear every day.

Rated 1 out of 5áby LarzOrun Springblade for Runners?
Who ever designed this shoe is not a runner. The shoe's blades can trap rocks, dirt and snow between the blades. If you are really into fitness or are really a runner do not buy these shoes. Basic a silly idea that made it to market.

Springblade is all marketing & hype. Not only are they hideous looking, they're not very comfortable. What was adidas thinking when they developed this ridiculous shoe?
